I just can't see how all this could be taken literally. When God gave us minds, I believe He meant us to use them.
Yes, I understand your point, however it is equally just important to TRUST God. I realize there is symbolism in the bible, there's no question, but you have to realize that God operates literally even with his symbolism.
We only know that Jesus was talking about His body after the fact.
That's what I was trying to get you to see. But he claimed to be God before the fact, and God can do anything. That's what I find fascinating!
You can look at the passages symbolically, but I'm saying, also look at them literally.
ADAM and EVE we're not the first 2 humans GOD created the races on the 6th day go back and read Genesis.
What does that have to do with my refuting your post? Nothing that I can see. It also makes no sense. I never once mentioned angels or satan. I simply showed that you seemed to base your whole post on a biased assumption. I didn't even read most of your post because the foundation was faulty. Can you go back and show why you beleive I am wrong in what I said rather than try to make assumptions about what I do or do not believe in areas that I did not even mention? If so, then we can have a biblical based conversation. If not, then I see no reason to continue.
Ok, nobody said anything about an apple, she ate from the tree which God instructed ADAM not to do, and thus she gave the food to Adam, he ate and God basically kicked their asses out of TGOE for doing what he told him not to do!
Adam died, end of story.
BTW, Adam was ALONE before Eve came along. He sure wasn't dancing with TREES.
WAS not the Temple used here in this passage symbolic to mean his body???? Well you're reading the symbolic first then it is up to the student to interpret the meaning of it to find out what he meant literally!!!!!!!!! and not everytime the the WORD TEMPLE is used it is to mean CHRIST's body this is why it is so important to learn the language and in the context it is being used. The pharisee's and the jews today and many christians are so decieved and have no idea what they read or clearly understand the teaching of Christ( speaking in Parables) because they refuse to learn interpertation of.
What happened in the garden is given in Genesis. Eve disobeyed God because she was deceived by Satan. And nobody here that I saw talked about an apple. It is the fruit of the tree that she ate and gave to Adam. Why we "got" sin, or why we sin is described in Genesis 3:4-6.
What cult do you ascribe to?
The point I am TRYING to get across is for people to look BOTH symbolically and literally at the passages. Every time I look at a passage symbolically I realize more times than not, the passage can be taken literally too.
And many read way too much into the scripture and conjecture a bunch of crappola like Eve and satan got it on and espouse it as fact!
Explain how we got CAIN and ABEL and why CAIN had no GRACE from GOD at all he was never given the chance to repent or to come to GOD even with his sacrifices?????? he was of an evil blood line. WHy is it when they realized they were naked were they embarrassed, from eating fruit????? Why then did GOD put enmity between thee and the woman and between thy seed and her seed<<<<GOD then chose MARY the virgin to conceive CHRIST no sex, no human involvement.
I still have yet to hear your interpertation of Just you telling me Im wrong.
To what religious denomination do you ascribe? Answer that for me and I'll be glad to continue this.
If there are only Adam and Eve, Cain and Abel, where did the women come in who gave Cain and Abel children????
Denomination means nothing to me it is interpretation is all that matters(pentacoastal if it really means something to you)So EVE ate from the tree of GOOD and EVIL and that is how it all started right, SO CAIN and ABEL were conceived from ADAM is what you are telling me. So GOD in your eyes gave 2 sons to EVE one to be evil and to Kill and one to be blessed and GOD gave EVE one of these sons so HE could condemn him to the ground and to never allow him to seek GOD's grace or to be able to repent for his sins??????????

Interesting, so mixing of races began way back then??I'm going to have to get my bible out and read. When I took old testament studies in high school, they just simply said the old testament is too fairy tale like to interpret. It was handed down generation by generation orally. Look Genesis 4:1 clearly states Eve conceived both. Where you're getting this "God never let Cain seek grace" is perposterous. All we know is God did not find favor with Cain's offering.
Let me suggest this, if this is what you think is going on from the way you interpret scripture, pray, reproof your thinking, and study by the Holy Spirit's guidance.
Personally I think it's great that you are seeking and looking into this stuff, but do not be fooled, do not be deceived into believeing what is not fully known to you and express it as truth. At best it is conjecture, and not a very good one at that considering you're willingness to delve into all this symbolic contrivance.
