The Unitarian faith is rooted in acceptance of other religions and beliefs.

Unitarian Universalism, a non-denominational faith that incorporates traditions from many backgrounds and faiths including Judaism, Islam and Hinduism, has a diverse following of faculty and students from all religions and backgrounds at USC.

Joshi said that another Unitarian organization had been on campus last year, but he felt that it lacked organization and structure.

Naturally.

Kind of like organizing a picnic for anarchists.

the ultimate postmodern theology - basically these poor folks simply invent their own religion based on whatever they want, and in the end they end up worshiping, well, themselves...

INTREP - The Law of Non-Contradiction says that "A" cannot also be "not-A" at the same time.

Unitarian church... incorporates traditions from many backgrounds and faiths including Judaism, Islam and Hinduism

These religions contradict each other...how can they all be true?

Pilate saith unto him, What is truth?
-John 18:38 (KJV)

At least Pilate was silling to ask what the truth was. These people just want a feel-good religion.

"Adopting one religion is close-minded..."

That is so ... judgmental!

Somebody needs sensitivity training. ;o)

Unitarian Universalism, a non-denominational faith

Isn't a non-denominational denomination a contradiction in terms? Or am I just being close-minded?

Its roots date back to 16th century Christian humanism and include 17th century reformers, such as the Pilgrims and Puritans.

Uh... not quite.

A religion base on chaos. How original.

I believe that their are only a few denominations that preach only that Jesus is Lord and SAVIOR, with sincerity. and even in these few denominations, we still have lost people.

It remind me something that Jesus said: The path to heaven is narrow(minded) and that few will find it. Not wide open has this denomination professes. Sad but true.

Hey, you be careful with anti-Unitarian rhetoric. Get those folks mad at you, and they'll come out to your house some night and burn a giant question mark on your lawn.

Ah the oldest religion in the universe.

You said in your heart, "I will ascend to heaven; I will raise my throne above the stars of God; I will sit enthroned on the mount of assembly, on the utmost heights of the sacred mountain. I will ascend above the tops of the clouds; I will make myself like the Most High."

What? They didn't think it was something new did they?
