WTEN is reporting tonight that a 2nd letter, written by Fr. John Minkler has now surfaced. This one is dated 2001.
The entire letter is handwritten and the handwriting matches the first letter. In this letter, Minkler accuses the bishop of having sex with 3 priests and names 24 others who are active homosexuals. The letter was sent to WTEN by Stephen Brady, President of Roman Catholic Faithful.
In an interview with the lawyer, John Aretakis says this 2nd letter confirms that Minkler did indeed write the first letter, thus the denial by Minkler was not voluntary.
Hubbard maintains his innocence. Diocesan spokesman, Ken Goldfarb (obviously not a catholic), refused to appear on camera but said "this doesn't even deserve air time."

Did a Google news search but came up blank. Once the story breaks on the net, I'll post it to this thread.

If there is one and now a 2nd letter, it seems that there are probably even more, perhaps more damaging. Hubbard has turned this new allegation over to Mary Jo White.

This "second letter" must be the one reported earlier by Paul Likoudis, written in 2001, kept unvailed until now.
Together with the original "henry letter", which by itself is sufficient if people behind some of those info come forward, Hubbard's days are numbered.
In the "henry letter", the doctors reporting of AIDS patients implicating a ring of homo priests including Hubbard was not unexpected, as I had earlier called for Hubbard's personal medical file, which any indication of STD at any time would put an abrupt end to his imminent demise, and save plenty of wasteful money.
I have no doubt the doctors, judges, policemen etc that gave Minkler info have other ways to forward the info discreet to the trusted parties such as Steve Brady.
At this stage, I do hope every single one of those named priests in the Minkler go down, as they also have Minkler's blood on their hands as well.
I can feel the Holy Martyrs of the Faith are coming to the aid of Fr. Minkler. His name will be exonerated.

This is like saying "No comment" while 60 Minutes comes knocking on the door with the incriminating video tape.

Thank you for you astute observations. This letter DEFINITELY confirms the lies emanating from the Chancery. The only way that Fr. Minkler would have signed a statement disavowing any relationship with the "henry" letter, was with a proverbial 'gun' to his head. The intrigue surrounding all of these allegations and denials continues to grow. Wish I had the "rights" to the book.

Hubbard maintains his innocence.Ah, good thing we Roman Catholics know how to interpret statements put out by the church.
Just like the Pope is in Perfect Health until the day he drops dead, Hubbard is of course "innocent" until the day he steps down or run out of town.

Wow! Keep us posted.
This is always the way it happens with these guys - first a little leak, then a tiny trickle, and then all of a sudden the dam breaks.

In all likelihood, Hubbard is busy making his Golden Parachute while his flunkies are stonewalling. You folks in Albany should consider this angle and perhaps try to stop him if possible. Saddam took a chunk of change when he knew his time was up.
Then again, Hubbard is the type that are so sure of himself that he just might outsmart himself. Who knows, in the end, that Golden Parachute may be weighed down by a ton of gold, and the chute made of swiss cheese.

;-D
We all go through "that" interrogation each time we go to Confession.
I believe Brady has a plan and, as m4629 has indicated, the faucet should soon be flowing. There must be plenty of affidavits that have yet to be released. Why else would Brady spend that much company money to come to Albany. This was more than just a coffee and tea social.
Actually, now that I think about this, it reminds me of a fireworks program on the 4th of July. It usually begins with one rocket. A few minutes later, they shoot off 2 or 3 rockets. Next come some fancy displays. Of course, the best part of any fireworks display comes at the finale when they shoot off everything they have in their arsenal. I just LOVE fireworks!

The latter. How many times have we seen this same thing happen? Bishop or Priest X - "Moi?" when the first accusation comes out, followed by an attempt to smear the complainant; a second bit of information, scoffed off; and then finally a flood that simply can't be denied.
But I was going to attempt to be less critical for Lent...(that didn't last long!).

Don't hold your breath....the Vatican wheels grind slow...this will take an asteroid, real or one made of real prayer to clean it up.
