You just cut off the limb you're sitting on. If sola Scriptura must be rejected for failing to keep unity, so must the Papacy and the Magisterium.

(A) The Papacy and the Magisterium don't rely on sola Scriptura and (B) the Papacy and the Magisterium don't lead to error, so I must confess I don't see your point.

what room do you have to criticize my authority (which is the Bible) because it can't keep people from up and leaving?

You've misunderstood my argument, and for that I apologize. It is not about people leaving, but about people misunderstanding.

Not to speak for AJ But I do think the point is that you claim that Sola Scriptura causes apostasies and cults etc.

AJ's point was that you DO NOT use the Bible as the basis for your faith and yet it can not keep itself together either ..

B) So you believe the selling of indulgents for the dead ..and In advance to your own sin so you could buy your own way into heaven was not an error??...

You need to look at the cafeteria Catholics ..each believing what they choose..

And... the Bible does lead to error?

Your clarification doesn't help your argument. Surely you must hold that Luther misunderstood, right? Well then.
