I have her last name, I just didn't think it was wise to post it on a public forum and open her up to attack. I was trying to be prudent.

Michael Schiavo couldn't polish his image with a diamond emery board. But I'd like to help. I think he should become a celebrity by starring in his own soap opera: MICHAEL MURDERS TERRI with loads of high drama as he makes new attempts on her life every week. The public loves celebrities. Look what OJ got away with by being a celebrity.

I can see James Brolin playing Felos McMoonbeam, crusading Death Angel and lawyer, and, oh, Hannibal Lecter playing Judge Grrrrr. The show's already been running for thirteen years, Michael might as well syndicate it.

Again, I believe you. I just don't think anyone who doesn't already believe that Terri is being murdered will be persuaded by an unsigned letter.

I would want to protect her too. I don't know what you could do. Just don't get your hopes up on the strength of this letter, since it proves nothing, and we desperately need PROOF of what Michael has done to her.

Smoking Gun

Below is posted one of the physicians' obligations regarding living wills under Florida law

"The attending physician and one other physician must certify in writing that the patient is in a terminal condition."

Even with a living will it must be determined that a patient is in terminal condition before it can be implemented.

Terri is not in a terminal condition. Unless you define life, itself as a terminal condition.

If this restriction exists, even with a living will present, how can a judge implement an order based only on the word of a third party? Especially since the patient is not in a terminal condition.

The same restriction surely applies in the abscence of a written directive.

Of course this probably doesn't matter. But I think the court overstepped its bounds, bigtime.

Without her last name, how can we ask public personalities to get in touch with her? Please find out if she has an email address or ANYTHING that would allow folks like Sean or Glen Beck to contact her....then she could get her story out nationally, and maybe, finally, locally!

Do the Schindler's have a copy of her letter on their website?

It must have helped greatly to have Felos on the Hospice board at the time Terri was admitted, when was that, THREE years ago?

Hospice has broken its own rules to admit Terri to their compassionate (in most cases) death chamber.

Their rules on their own website, HospiceFoundations.org, states that they only accept TERMINALLY ILL PATIENTS, in the last stages, and at that, all means of rehabilitation and cure must have been exhausted. Terri fits NEITHER PARAMETER.

They are open for a lawsuit.

And to boot, THREE YEARS of isolation, no TV, no doctoring unless agreed to by Michael, no attention, no stimulation (per Michaels direct orders) were given.

No comfort for terri. Michael must have DEEPLY wanted her to die, alone and hurting having given up the will to live.

Terri fooled him and angered him.

So much that Michael has taken to punishing the parents by disallowing visits off and on, and just lately, DIDN't EVEN BOTHER TO TELL THEM HE WAS MOVING HER FROM THE HOSPITAL TO THE HOSPICE...is that NOT THE HEIGHT OF CRUELTY????

I don't understand all the connections between the lendermans, the greers the schiavos and the felos character etc with this hospice, the Woodside Hospice in Pinellas cty, but I do know one thing...this HOSPICE has a LOT of QUESTIONS to answer for and they deserve a few well placed phone calls.

Not doubting anybody's word, but if Kathleen will not give her full name under such serious claims, she should not be releasing the info at all. If it's verifiable like a court record of child support, dig up the record and post that with a "link" (info on where to retrieve and confirm). AFTER you find out if that is LEGAL! You could be violating a child's privacy or some other offense.
The Schindlers would know, have they made this claim?
Kathleen must have contacted them, don't you think?

IMO, there are too many big players involved. An outside organization is needed to get an independent investigation done. I think a lot of people would rather "just not know"

Add to that mix, Republic, that Terri is now on Medicaid, a Federal program, whose regulations state that Federal money cannot be used for assisted suicide, euthanasia, or mercy killing, and as a patient in Hospice care, she must be given every opportunity for rehab. Seems to me she's now under FEDERAL PROTECTION.

Well-we need to remember that kathy DID sign her last name when she sent her letter to the newspaper. Our Freeper friend who posted her letter here said that she (the FReeper) withheld it to protect kathy from unwanted messages. I can understand that. What we have to do-is figure out how to get her under affidavit and find out HOW much of her letter is heresay and HOW much is first hand knowledge. Wonder if she would do an affidavit for the Schindlers.

Also need to note that Michaels claim that Terri would want to die under her present circumstances if hearsay-he said, she said and a few of michaels family members also fit under that incredibly biased scenario.

I don't know if it is public record or not, but I am sure that it is information that the agency that is investigating him could easily gain access to. We should make sure and suggest it. I have already written them once.
