I want the Sox to lose this game big just to piss off Affleck more than to give the Yankees a game up. If that happens, with luck, he'll become a Yankee fan.

Nomar is so due right about now. I'd like to see him smash one over the wall this time up. Has a 2-0 count...foul ball, 2-1...and another weak grounder - INNING OVER.

Looks like Nomar is struggling at the plate as much as Jeter is struggling in the field.
To: Mr. Mojo
Just the official scorer being nice to the hometown hitters. Or he's a Jeter fan that is artificially keeping Jeter's fielding percentage from falling further. ;)
To: Mr. Mojo
Thankfully.

Good question, especially since so many of them are hanging.

And that used to be available to me FOR FREE onlineSome were, some weren't.
, until MLB forced the radio stations to yank their feeds offline in order to take advantage of a whole new way to gouge their fans.
Just out of curiousity - how much of whatever it is that you produce do make available for free to anyone that wants it?
Don't try to spin this as MLB graciously offering something that did not already exist without charge.
I'm not. I'm saying that they're taking something that they produce and hold the rights to, and rather than letting random people give it away in various places, they're making it available at a very reasonable price. If you don't want the service, don't pay for it. If you don't think it's worth what they're charging, don't pay for it. I just get tired of leftist whining whenever anyone wants to charge a fee for something that they're producing. And to call $19.95 for every Major League Game "gouging" - well, as I said, I think that's just whining.

Classic Fenway LONG single!

Pedro doesn't have his best stuff. He's gaming the best he can.
To: demlosers
I have a feeling that neither of these pitchers will see the 7th inning.
To: Dog
I'm guessing that Pedro is anticipatng the necessity of pitching a complete game today. If it's a close game, Pedro is not going to trust the bullpen to keep it.
Anyway, the game isn't going to stay close unless Pedro turns it on. Yankees up 3-2 and looking for more with still nobody out. Not looking good.

Johnson's a good hitter. Posada leading off two innings getting on base deserves kudos.
Matsui rips one and the Yankees are up. Martinez ain't bringing heat.

Who are those in the picture? Is that J-Ho and some overrated spare?
Speaking of overrated, fire Mack Brown.
