Mariners' fans chant "Edgar, Edgar" in a similarly derisive fashion when their star player Edgar Martinez is at the plate, and they're too stupid to know that it's in fact derisive.
Yanks showing some sac, coming back against Pedro.

Jeter hit that one on the avenue. Pedro throwing a lot of hanging curve balls. Whats up with that?

Yanks showing some sac, coming back against Pedro. Pedro doesn't seem to particularly faze the Yankees, thankfully. I think Pedro is roughly .500 against them.

what does "showing some sac" mean? Is it a baseball game term? I have never heard it before.

One bad pitch by Pedro this inning and it is a tie game on a Jeter blast. The ball hanged so perfectly that I think I could have hit it. Other than that, Pedro is looking pretty sharp. I think he's got his "A" game going.
BTW, it's a perfect day for baseball in Boston. Deep blue skies, mild temperatures (hit 71 in my backyard today) and the leaves on the trees were absolutely brilliant. I was up this morning to see the sunrise. A fantastic autumn day in New England.

Yanks showing some sac, coming back against Pedro. That pitch by Pedro was a big fat gift to Jeter -- happy birthday.

As for the "free radio" part, if you're in radio range of a free radio station, use a radio. That is exactly what I do. If not, I watch it on TV.
If not, they're making the broadcast that you couldn't otherwise get available to you.
And that used to be available to me FOR FREE online, until MLB forced the radio stations to yank their feeds offline in order to take advantage of a whole new way to gouge their fans. Don't try to spin this as MLB graciously offering something that did not already exist without charge.

The Red Sox are doing their derisive chants of "Roger" again. Really classy. They really got bit on the @ss when they did the "Darryl" thing - Lol...

Is it just me, or do Ben Affleck's pores ooze a**hole? It's not just you. I'm a huge Yankees fan, and after seeing those slimeballs showing off for the cameras, I want the Sox to lose this game big just to piss off Affleck more than to give the Yankees a game up.

Jeter gets ate-up by another Damon hit.
To: Senator Pardek
Yep, that was beautiful.
Damn, Jeter's been horrible in the field in these playoffs.

Johnny Damon with his second hit that "should have been an easy out." What's up with the Yankee infield this year?

They called that a hit? Yankees defense up the middle is going to hurt them.

I'm a huge Yankees fan, and after seeing those slimeballs showing off for the cameras, I want the Sox to lose this game ... Let's parse that ever so slightly, without changing the meaning: "I'm a huge Yankees fan ... I want the Sox to lose this game ..."
Well, yeah. Of course Yankee fans want to beat the Sox. Nothing to do with Hollywierd.
