Pedro vs Roger. Two of the greatest pitchers to ever play the game. Fenway Park is rocking. Electricity is in the air. Here we go...

Have to run out to Mass. Maybe I should stop at the MAC for extra candle money.
Be back soon...

Just have to say that the F15-flyby earlier scared me and my coworkers half to death. It went right over top of us, and we weren't listening to the game yet, so we had no clue what was going on when it went over...
I'm just hoping to avoid any crazy mobs on my way home...I'm definitley avoiding walking close to the Fenway park area...

Looks like both pitchers getting hit early on. It looked like Pedro was going to get out of this inning but then gives up the clutch RBI single. So it is a 2-1 game with Roger coming back for the second inning. Let's see if the Sox can do more damage.

When Pedro isn't sharp, he gives up 3-4 runs. With Roger it's 6-8 runs.

The Red Sox are doing their derisive chants of "Roger" again. Really classy.

Well the Sox went down 1-2-3. Roger appears to have settled down...for now. A 2-1 lead is not safe in Fenway, even with Pedro at his best. The Sox need more runs on the board.
Couldn't help but notice those self-absorbed twits in the first row with a TV monitor. Imagine that. They get front row tickets to a playoff game (because we are "beautiful people" don't you know) and they have their flunkies lug a TV set to the game so that, apparently, they can see when they are on TV and do the obligatory kissing for the tabloids.

The moneygrubbers at Major League Baseball force all radio stations with Internet feeds to shut them down during games so that you have to go to mlb.com and pay through the nose for the "privilege" of paying for free radio. Major League baseball makes every radio broadcast of every team available for a cost of $19.95 for the entire season. That's probably close to 10000 hours of streaming audio available over six months, for an average of about $3.33 per month. You and I apparently have very different ideas about what the term "pay through the nose" means...
As for the "free radio" part, if you're in radio range of a free radio station, use a radio. If not, they're making the broadcast that you couldn't otherwise get available to you.

Is it just me, or do Ben Affleck's pores ooze a**hole? I did a double-take when I saw him in the stands. With that facial hair, he looks just like Matt Clement, the Cubs pitcher!

Is it just me, or do Ben Affleck's pores ooze a**hole? No, it's not just you. About a year ago, I posted a comment on a thread here at FR, saying "Maybe it's just me, but something about Ben Affleck's face just makes me want to kick his ass."
I think it's the smug "I'm smarter and more successful than you" look on his face.
