Contacting the Free Republic leadership
Posted on 10/08/2003 10:47:53 PM PDT by StephenDewey
My name is Stephen Dewey, and I am a reporter for the Harvard Political Review. I'm doing an article on online conservative activism, and I'd like to exchange emails or phone calls with somebody from the Free Republic leadership about your organization. If anybody were to point me in the right direction, it would be very much appreciated. My email address is sdewey AT fas.harvard.edu (spelled that way to avoid spam!). Thanks!

"The owner of the site is Jim Robinson, who uses his name as his handle." That is actually just a clever illusion to conceal his true VRWC identity.

"We have, generally, a horribly undiverse staff. And so we hold up and promote the few black staffers we have." Dang, did he have to resign and then be fingered in a illegal, prescription, drug ring ?

Ya mean like the 'Stonecutters'...
Who controls the British crown?
Who keeps the metric system down?
We do! We do!
Who keeps Atlantis off the maps?
Who keeps the Martians under wraps?
We do! We do!
Who holds back the electric car?
Who makes Steve Guttenberg, a star?
We do! We do!
Who robs cave fish of their sight?
Who rigs every Oscar night?
We do! We do!

Hey...lighten up. Maybe he was just being neighborly! Stephen, don't mind the crochety FReeepers. A steady diet of raving morons, even on Fox news can tend to make folks grouchy and cynical. And we DO get our share of trolls around here, so sometimes we might tend to be overly cautious. Don't take it personally. Welcome to Free Republic. Hope you find it nice and homey and will join in the discussions. And don't be too concerned about the secret decoder ring....sometimes that takes awhile.
