"However, he can be Speaker of the House, and succeed thereby if the Pres/VP are simultaneously incapacitated. However, I believe that House and Senate rules, not constitutional law, require them to select leaders that are presidentially qualified."
Not exactly. The House can select any member (and some would say even a non-member) as Speaker, but any person that does not meet the qualifications of President would need to be skipped over (as would have happened to Kissinger and Albright when they were Secretary of State).

All I heard about is him talking about their "victory" over Prop. 54. Ungrateful ****.

They always had a majority...this added to it.

McAwful is spinning this as a win for the dems and a loss for the republican national party. May McAuliffe have an endless string of such victories, far, far into the future.
And may he be RAT party chairman forever.

The most fun I had was watching Begala reporting on Arnold's decisive victory.
How sweet it is!

If the CA RATS are smart they'll get rid of Mulholland and Torres. Their stuff doesn't work anymore.

Agreed. No tonsil hockey indeed.

Not that I heard! As several posters have said, Bustamecha's first words were about defeating prop. 54. I think he still gets to remain Lt. Governor under Arnold, too.

HAHAHAHA. San Francisco is a "special place" (according to one woman on KGO). They don't know how special. 80% voting no while most of the rest of the state voted yes.

Actually Chris was pretty irritated with JESSe Ventura earlier tonight...since he was so nasty about our Governor Arnold winning tonight. I dont' know if Chris is really all that upset.

Tom Daschle is more than saddened, he's on a suicide watch :-)
And if any Democrat contender actually becomes a real threat to GWB, he or she will be on an "Arkancide Watch"
