No, that's not true. If Davis had won, a new recall could not be brought against him for six months, but a recall could be brought immediately against a new Governor.
However, it really is not that easy to bring a recall. This has been the first successfull recall in the history of CA. Many have been tried, none have succeeded.
Also, to win a recall, they would have to get enough people to support it. With the support that Arnold is getting, that just isn't going to happen.
For them to attempt a recall now would probably backfire, just like the LA Slimes hit pieces backfired.

The classic statement was when Bob Mulholland stated Schwarzenegger had 100 days to end California's ills or he'd be recalled.
Davis and company take us from a $6 billion dollar surplus to a $47 billion dollar deficit in 5.5 years, but Schwarzenegger only gets 100 days to rectify it.
Mulholland, I only hope you can do your magic for the democrat members of the state legislature and the senate. Who knows, perhaps Bill Clinton, Diane Feinstein and Loretta Sanchez can help you again.

The first thing Arnold will say to Gray when Gray calls to congradulate him is:
I want to ask you a series of questions. And I want you to answer them immediately.
Who is your daddy? And what does he do?
And Gray will respond, "Bill Clinton is my daddy. And what he does is cost democrats elections. I guess Gore was right. If Clinton had campaigned for Gore Bush would have won California."

Davis beat Simon by a mere 5 pts in a low turnout. He had no mandate. I'm going to guess the numbers tonite will show a resounding defeat for Davis and a resounding victory for Arnold. The electorate won't go along with Bob Mullholland.

For whom does the bell toll? It tolls for thee, democrats. And Mulholland knows it. You damn right he's taking it personal. The majority of this country has finally figured out the dems and they know it. They're on their way to the scrap heaps of history. For California to have that many people voting for a republican is amazing. The dems are scared to death and they just don't want to accept the truth.
To: ambrose
It sure was! Now on to the LA Times, the California senate and legislature, and those friggin senators. Barbara, you're next.

SUSAN Estrich is slamming her democrat friends for their puke politics. I wonder who SHE voted for. She is slamming Mulholland AND McCauliffe. She says it is the DNC's fault that they lost the election since they chose to not run any other democrat.

yep, sounds like a RAT sort of thing to do..... What's funny is that, in Arnold, they are getting another DemocRAT - he just has an "R" by his name because it's different. he is 90% with the RATs on social issues.
