McClintock Cautiously Optimistic About Chances
After casting his vote this morning in a Thousand Oaks polling place, Republican state Senator Tom McClintock expressed confidence that an upset win would put him in the governor's office.
In recent days, McClintock has repeatedly said his his third place standing in the polls doesn't respresent the true feelings of voters. He believes the people of California will vote their consciences, resulting in a victory for him.
McClintock had a message for those who like his message, but say he can't win and intend to vote for Schwarzenegger instead of him. "Don't vote for someone else's calculations, vote your own convictions," he said.
While disturbed by recent allegations about fellow Republican Schwarzenegger, McClintock also expressed skepticism about the charges because of the timing. Whatever his reservations, however, he said that if the accusations are proven, Schwarzenegger doesn't deserve to be governor.
McClintock has mapped out his first day in office if elected. First, he plans to sign an executive order to repeal the car tax, then take action to rescind expensive energy contracts, and finally call a special session to examine workman's compensation issues.

At the time, HER wasn't on. She's getting hammered though. LOL (with her history of switching, HER will be trying to be in Arnold's govt.)
To: Howlin
Which is exactly why we're NOT a microcosm of the real world. But the different ways in which each of us interacts with others mirrors society in general. I'll be doing a vanity write-up on this in the near future.

Send over the grief counselors.

Within the next 8-10 months, I will likely be headed OUT of Californicate and let the RINOld-bots have the fun of paying for their choice. Sadly, you who actually wanted CHANGE in this state will ALSO wind up paying the price of THEIR folly, should you also stay. NOTHING will change except the letterhead coming forth from the Governor's office.

Keyes won't be treated to the blind obedience he once had here, either.
The new standardbearer will be somebody like Roy Moore.

Yep....... I don't know what the party politics of FL will be regarding that race..... If Graham will run again or if it will be an open seat. But it could be a very interesting Primary.....
