The success of the recall may well be worth celebrating. The election of Arnold Schwartzenegger as Governor is another matter entirely.

I'm assuming that both McClintock and Schwartzenegger supporters are welcome. :)

Schwarzenegger got you down? Consider the alternative. See - you're feeling better already!
To: Post Toasties
The alternatives don't matter to Ron because he lives in Ill. Funny how so many of the McClintock supporters who claim Arnold is a left winger don't live in CA, don't have to pay confiscatory taxes, don't have to drive with licensed illegal aliens, don't have to pay $800 to register their vehicle each year, don't have to work with men wearing women's clothes, don't have to look at Gray Davis' ugly face every day, etc., etc., etc.

Oh yes it does. He probably vividly remember the DuPage County (our version of Orange) Republican Party "celebrating" the election of "moderate Republican" Governor Ryan in 1998 and gloating about glorious it would be to have four years of Republican rule, that Illinois was "saved" from Glenn Poshard (southern IL Dem Congressman) election and we had "sent a message" about Clinton's impeachment.
Four years later, all they had to show for it was big tax hikes all over, more gun laws, some taxpayer funded trips to Cuba so the "Republican" governor could kiss Castro's ass, and every single murderer on death row being freed.
Would Glenn Poshard have been better than George? HELL YES!!! Democrats can NEVER get away with tax hikes the way RINOs can. The Republicans in the General Assembly would have certainly stood up to him, as opposed to when they lovingly passed any piece of socialism that George wanted.
And BTW, Loretta Sanchez would NEVER be elected in 99.99% Republican controlled DuPage county-- in fact, she'd probably be lucky to get about 20% of the vote. Orange County Country-Clubbers not only fail to live up to their billing as the "most Republican county in the country", but they're not even the "most Republican county" in CA!
