Hamas vows retaliation against Israel

The Palestinian resistance group Hamas has vowed to retaliate against Israel for its air raid inside Syria.

Izz al-Din al-Qassam, the armed wing of Hamas, threatened on Sunday to respond to an Israeli air strike earlier in the day it said targeted a Palestinian refugee camp.

"Our response to this serious escalation will be one of deterrence and it will happen soon in the depths of the criminal Zionist entity," its said in a statement.

"We call on all the cells of the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades in all areas to quickly respond in the depths of the Zionist enemy to the treacherous aggression on Syria," it added.

Israeli jets on Sunday struck what they claimed was a training camp for the Palestinian group Islamic Jihad near the Syrian capital Damascus. But the Syrians and Palestinians say the Israelis had aimed at a civilian target.

Indignation

The armed wing of Hamas voiced indignation over the Israeli raid and said it amounted to attacking all Palestinians.

"Any assault on any Arab and Muslim country is an assault on the Palestinian people, part of the Arab and Muslim nation," the statement said.

"After the Haifa martyrdom attack, the criminal enemy has attempted to export its internal crisis caused by the Palestinian resistance so they launched an air attack on Syria targeting places for Palestinian refugees."

"Israel has tried to chase those whom it displaced with the Zionist occupation decades ago…" the statement further alleged.

Sunday's air raid follows the bombing of a restaurant in the northern Israeli town of Haifa on Saturday, which left at least 19 dead, including several Arabs as well as Israelis. The bombing was carried out by a Palestinian woman and responsibility was claimed by Islamic Jihad.

I guess I've been around here for about 6 years or so now. Time sure flies!

When Jim Robinson started this site, it was because he was fed up with the liberal media, and how they would not let people worldwide know about the corruption of the Clinton Administration. A few of us, equally concerned, (with great luck) found it fast.

In the early days, FR was a day-to-day operation, always on the brink of bankruptcy. Jim kept on, and we chipped in when it became too much. We knew how important this site was, and is. Sometimes, it came down to the wire, and we wrote checks, and sent them in, as best we could.

Look at it now. We all get our best information from this site. It is huge, with thousands of posters, and millions of readers. Yet Jim still keeps it alive because of his conviction, and he is absolutely NOT making a profit on it. He just believes. As do we.

BTW, did you know that the founder of this site is in a wheelchair (sorry Jim; I know you think it doesn't make a r*ts a$$ difference. Hey, some folks out there need to come down a peg, like I have.).

Think of it! In the darkest days of the Clinton Administration, there was a lone internet site where people with integrity, brains, and sheer gumption could discuss the dangers faced by the US. Not on CNN, for sure.

Earthmovers like Drudge, Ann Coulter, Rush, WFBuckley, his brother, Savage, Buchanan, both houses of Congress (many) check in to see what we think.

The opposition checks it out, too. Like the NY times staff, CNN, AFL-CIO, China, etc. Trust me, they all come here to read. Even YOUR post. You know by now how they are whining about Rush? We're next, as soon as they figure out how they can trash this site without it getting a million hits.

I've been broke; I've been not broke. I've slept in my car. I know how it feels to be squeezed tight with bills. Folks with giant bills: You're not alone, and you have friends here. :)

If you love this site as much as I do, please, please sign up for automatic payment of just $3 per month. Don't be embarrassed if you think this is too little. It absolutely is not. You $3 a month folks are our grassroots movement heroes. Be proud. Become one of the thousand points of light here, and you will so feel proud every month. We'll thank you for it, and are so glad to have you on board.

I know things are rough out there. But you are tough, and a member of the greatest grassroots freedom movement in 100 years. Together we are making history, and will change the world, as we already have. The best is yet to come.

Most countries out there would consider this website illegal. They hate us, for our freedom. Their systems cannot stand, in the face of Freedom. The people there read us when they can, when they are “allowed” to, and are not being tortured. They flock to us, America, because they want to be free. Help us help them.

Would you please, please consider signing up for just $3 a month? Please? That’s all it takes, really, believe it or not. You will make a world of difference, to, well, the world. Be proud, Americans, and please help out!

Why does Hamas feel the need to retaliate if Israel just attacked an dusty old, unused, not really a Terrorist Training Camp in Syria?

Making a "deadly vow" against Israel because of actions against the Country of Syria?

Another intelligent move by Hamas. Why don't they just come out and state the truth, "Syria supports terrorism against Israel"!

I thought that they didn't have a training camp in Syria. The papers said so.

So these Jihadis are going to retaliate for a base they didn't have?

Hamas vows retaliation against Israel

You mean they're just now going to start attacking Israelis?!! Oh wait, they've been doing that years, so what do they have in mind?

Quick, check out the number of Palestinian female law school grads, Hamas's men may have recruited one!

How long do these fools think they can keep up with sacrificing their young to kill Israelis? Saddam's not there anymore, and bombing Syrian terrorist camps is a great way to stop some of the bombings of Israelis. Why WOULDN'T Israel want to stop the training camps?

If fact, since this has made them "squeal like the pigs they are", it must be hurting. After all, Israel wasn't supposed to cross the border (like the terrorists do all the time) when right across the border are camps where the murderers of Israelis are trained.

And the Taliban hides right across the border in Pakistan, conducting raids into Afghanistan. Those Muslims need to learn that respecting international law is a two-way street.

Hamas vows retaliation against Israel

Well they better be prepared to endure more hollow promises and empty threats from the nation that refuses to defend itself!

They must mean some kind of "double-secret retaliation."

If you've already pulled out all the stops, threatening to pull them out again ceases to have any meaning.

But everything Hamas says is for the Arab Street anyway.

That's funny...I thought the whole purpose of Hamas was retaliation against the existence of Israel. Could they state the obvious any more?

"We call on all the cells of the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades in all areas to quickly respond in the depths of the Zionist enemy to the treacherous aggression on Syria," it added.

What a relief, the best Arabic BS oratory didn't die with Nasser.

The armed wing of Hamas voiced indignation over the Israeli raid and said it amounted to attacking all Palestinians.

"Any assault on any Arab and Muslim country is an assault on the Palestinian people, part of the Arab and Muslim nation," the statement said.

Oh my goodness, somebody needs a hug.

There is the little matter of the fact that the Palestinians were been kicked out of Jordan, and Kuwait for good reasons and they're the poor brown trash of the Arabic world, useful only to harass the Israelis. Everybody knows that the concerned Arabic kinsmen and co-religionists of those precious Palestinians wouldn't let them in their countries on a bad bet. The Palestinians are left there to bedevil Israel.
