Davis Plans to Steal the Recall Vote (Vanity Alert)
My deeply suspicious mind | October 5, 2003 | Miss Marple

Posted on 10/05/2003 10:33:14 AM PDT by Miss Marple

It is my opinion that Davis has concluded that he can steal this election. The following clues have led me to this conclusion:

1. Consolidation of polling places, causing confusion and no way to compare votes from pervious elections to this one.

2. Dropping the court case, hence no way to have a judge order federal observers.

3. Scandal stories surfaced on Thursday, even though they had it for weeks, so that there is cover provided for the vote fraud. Stupid or mendacious pundits will say that the scandal drove away voters at the last minute. (Please note that they are already using this sory as a Rat talking point.)

4. Bogus polls from left-wing sources showing a drop in support for the recall. (I expect Zogby will weigh in before Tuesday, just as he did in the 2000 presidential election.)(Late bulletin...MSNBC just said that recall effort is faltering due to scandal.)

5. The effort by the left to ensure that McClintock says in the race, going so far as to get the Indians to fund him. In my opinion the trick will be to switch some Arnold votes to McClintock, providing enough of a margin that Davis or Bustamante squeaks through. The danger of Tom being on the ballot is not that he will draw actual votes from Arnold, as much as that it gives the democrats a place to park votes. I know this will make a lot of McClintock people mad but I am certain the Rats learned a trick from the PJB voters in Florida.

6. Bustamante is suddenly silent and Davis is acting more cocky, going so far as to hint Arnold should be criminally prosecuted for sexual battery.

This is how Rats win elections. I strongly suggest that all Californians vote yes on the recall, and do your best to win that portion of the election.

It is not my place to suggest how people vote between Arnold or Tom, since I am not a Californian.

I can, however, suggest that we make an effort to get massive turnout and have as many poll watchers as possible.

Davis has submitted an unusually large number of judicial appointments

And the CA Legislature is going to meet before the election to confirm them!!!

Thanks! I haven't monitored this thread for a couple of hours because my 3 grandchildren are here (7, 4, and 11 months). I will go back and answer all in a minute.

No rush on that.... It will be maybe 45 days or so before all is accounted for and votes/elections certified..... lots can happen during that period of time

Nice vanity. I think that the recall is a test case for the rats to see how far they can push the envelope in 2004. Hold on Miss M, we're in for a rough time!

You say several polls released today including MSNBC..... I don't find several but rather one from NBC11-Knight/Ridder... Here's the major question in it that determines what happens come Tuesday evening and beyond.....

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/995685/posts?page=9#9
On the ballot, the first question you will be asked to vote on reads as follows: “Shall Gray Davis be recalled – that is, be removed – from the office of governor?” On that question will you:

Definitely vote yes: 50
Probably vote yes: 4
Probably vote no: 4
Definitely vote no: 37
Not sure: 6

YES: Definitely + Probably = 54
NO: Definitely + Probably = 41
Not sure: 6

A 13% advantage to the YES with a 6% not sure..... Add the total 6% to the NO and it's still only 47....... Passes.

It will take maybe a million plus votes to change that number to a NO win considering the votes already cast in the absentee balloting, imo.

If you have links to those other polls I'd appreciate it.... thanks.

There's something about that distinct crackle sound you make when you're crunching numbers!

Thank you for taking the time to communicate such important message. I am praying that the "Yes on Recall" vote is substantial and decisive.

I will go check and see what I can find. I know that the Davis camp is saying that their internal numbers show the recall fading. Also, MSNBC apparently reported such on their web site.

You just KNOW Zogby is going to appear, don't you? LOL!

Don't bother with hunting.... I've looked at google news and searched for polls and found nothing that's been in the news media print. They'll surface on FR if they get into print... Thanks. I just though maybe you had seen some.

Not sure about Zog as he's not been doing any CA polling that I'm aware of....

I can''t find anything either. I must confess I as going on what I had heard reported on Fox. Perhaps I am wrong.

I still stand by the rest of what I posted, however.

Yes, God forbid that the most qualified, capable candidate stays on the ballot for principled people to choose. What a tragedy!

This election is so crucial that I think it is imperative that all people of faith spend a lot of time in prayer in the next couple of days. I know that I shall certainly be praying about it and urge others to, also.

May God's will be done and may the results be to His glory!
