Davis Plans to Steal the Recall Vote (Vanity Alert)
My deeply suspicious mind

It is my opinion that Davis has concluded that he can steal this election. The following clues have led me to this conclusion:
1. Consolidation of polling places, causing confusion and no way to compare votes from pervious elections to this one.
2. Dropping the court case, hence no way to have a judge order federal observers.
3. Scandal stories surfaced on Thursday, even though they had it for weeks, so that there is cover provided for the vote fraud. Stupid or mendacious pundits will say that the scandal drove away voters at the last minute. (Please note that they are already using this sory as a Rat talking point.)
4. Bogus polls from left-wing sources showing a drop in support for the recall. (I expect Zogby will weigh in before Tuesday, just as he did in the 2000 presidential election.)(Late bulletin...MSNBC just said that recall effort is faltering due to scandal.)
5. The effort by the left to ensure that McClintock says in the race, going so far as to get the Indians to fund him. In my opinion the trick will be to switch some Arnold votes to McClintock, providing enough of a margin that Davis or Bustamante squeaks through. The danger of Tom being on the ballot is not that he will draw actual votes from Arnold, as much as that it gives the democrats a place to park votes. I know this will make a lot of McClintock people mad but I am certain the Rats learned a trick from the PJB voters in Florida.
6. Bustamante is suddenly silent and Davis is acting more cocky, going so far as to hint Arnold should be criminally prosecuted for sexual battery.
This is how Rats win elections. I strongly suggest that all Californians vote yes on the recall, and do your best to win that portion of the election.
It is not my place to suggest how people vote between Arnold or Tom, since I am not a Californian.
I can, however, suggest that we make an effort to get massive turnout and have as many poll watchers as possible.

There is a sudden increase in registered voters that as yet, noone can explain. You know, that is a very good point as well. Whenever I have heard the media discuss it, they attribute it to the general electorate being juiced about voting for Arnold. Hmmmm....
Miss Marple, jot that one down as well.

Though it is a California election, it has tremendous national consequences. The possiblities for deception, fraud, and judicial challenges are endless when Democrats are threatened with a loss of power.
Big "Get-out-and-vote" bump from Ohio!

True, also I heard that Davis is going to challenge the outcome plus I read that the Ballots are very confusing!! I think the rats who design the ballots did it with the intend of causing confusion so that it can be challenged in the 9th CIRCUS Court!! BEWARE!

I can't disagree, but there is some evidence that suggests the opposite. Posters on this site have reported in the past several days that Davis has submitted an unusually large number of judicial appointments and, that his office has hired record shredders for immediate service.
If these observations are based in fact, then Davis is at least hedging his bet. If they know Davis will lose, then his friends, relatives and business associates have spent the weekend building grossly inflated invoices for consulting and other services that will be submitted for payment after Davis loses but before Arnold is sworn in. Alas, we will not know about these for months, when the thieves start suing Arnold and the state for payment.

Great post! If we lose this recall, we will never live it down. The Dems will be screaming that our attempt to overturn the will of the people has FAILED - our attempt to "steal" another election just like in Florida has FAILED - that our scummy candidate, Arnold, turned off women and he has FAILED - that the Republican Party is now dead in California because we FAILED - and in 2004, Bush will crawl back to Texas because he, too, has FAILED.
I pray that people realize just how much is at stake here. It is much more than one would think.
And you're right, MM - the RATS will do anything, anything to win this recall. Hope Californians are prepared.

You are so right!
Never forget the FULL ballot boxes found floating in SF bay after the last election.

You didn't ping ALCOA
I don't think they can use votes per se to steal the election unless it is extremely close. Polls don't indicate that at this time... With the volume of absentee votes already cast [2 mil or so], the expected turnout, and possible spread in the numbers on Q. #1, manipulating the vote count will be almost impossible, imo.
However I'm sure they will use every legal tactic that's available to them to delay or have the election disqualified. But if the vote is by a fairly large marjority to recall Davis I don't think they will have public support and in fact may get negative reactions if Davis pushes too hard.... At some point the Democrat party would have to consider future implications.

Bustamante of course hasn't been completely silent, but he has been noticeably weak in campaigning. On the other hand, Davis is acting really cocky, as I observed on Fox just a short time ago.
Why do you think they didn't appeal that decision? It made lots of sense for them to do so, because it would have cast the election in doubt and also have shown the spotlight on the eeevil Supreme Court, who gave the election to Bush, according to Rat dogma.
The reason they didn't appeal was if there was a protest in court on-going, the feds could have sent observers in under the guise of Civil Rights, as they did in Florida this last election (also in St. Louis).
Davis thinks he can win because of fraud.

I read that the Ballots are very confusing!!
How so...... with 135 candidates on a list it has to be confusing if it was just in pure alphabetical order as we know it.

deport, California's ballot says that even if you vote no on the recall, you can still vote for a replacement.
The only thing the Rats have to do is make sure there are enough "No" votes. It doesn't matter who the ballot chooses as a replacement. In fact, Arnold could win the most of the replacement votes, but if enough of his ballots are counted as NO then Davis would win.

Very true but that's my point... Most polls say that yes is winning by a fair margin.... thus if so then to manipulate that many votes is hard to do..... The better potention would come through legal manuvers, not vote fraud.... imo

If Davis wins this, he can claim with precieved credibility that his policies have a public mandate. My guess is that the corruptive energy generated by that event would push the San Andreas fault over the edge.
I'd recommend armed poll watchers.

Several polls released today (including one by MSNBC) are showing the recall as faltering, supposedly due to the scandals.
It isn't necessary for ALL polls to show this...just a few. Just like Zogby's poll was the only one who showed Bush losing support.
Everyone decided Zogby was accuate. I maintain that the other polls were accurate, and that Zogby's was an excuse to cover the Gore vote fraud (supposedly motivated by the late release of the DUI story).

>> "plus I read that the Ballots are very confusing" <<
The ballots really are not confusing.
Question 1 Recall: yes/no.
There are two Propositions : Yes / No.
The only thing at all different is that there are 130 or so candidates for Governor. But each page of this part of the ballot has this printed in bold at the top:
REMEMBER: VOTE FOR ONLY ONE CANDIDATE FOR GOVERNOR.
The other weird thing is that in the interests of "fairness" the candidates are NOT in alphabetical order, so you have to spend a little time looking for the name of the guy you want to vote for. But anybody with an IQ higher than a cabbage ought to be able to handle that.

A mess up here and NATIONAL HUMILITY will be rained upon us....DO NOT BLOW THIS MY FRIENDS. Do not blow this...... Give it a rest.
It's a win-win situation.
If it's an honest election Davis is out and a republican is in.
If there is massive fraud, the rats can't make it "perfect" and the resulting criminal prosecutions will destroy the rats for a generation.
If gray fights the results in court, he will not be able to get a job as dogcatcher. He might even be facing criminal prosecution himself. For crimes while in office.
Relax.
