American Reporter Correspondant Jill Stewart then a writer for New Times Los Angeles revealed in 1997 that California Governor Grey Davis attacked aides, hurled vulgarities and ashtrays at them, and 'behaved badly' as Arnold Schwarznegger described his own behavior yesterday.
Moreover, Stewart, a former Los Angeles Times staff reporter, says editors there knew of those attacks from accounts provided to them by their own staff reporters, but none the less concealed those accounts-apprarently, even as it prepared an October 2 expose on sexual harassment invloving Schwartznegger.
The facts of her article were never disputed by Davis, who was then engaged in a bitter campaign for Governor against millionaire Republican businessman Al Checchi.

HA! I am shocked and appalled at the thought that the man with the world's....oops....UNIVERSE'S best physique would have possibly had intimate relations with women out of wedlock!
ps. Like your screen name, I used to have one on other sites, Boba Fettish, but too few people got it and I kept getting all these weird emails about snakes...totally wrong universe

The LA Times and other major media outlets have done a grave disservice to Americans by allowing their agenda to overrule their job to report the news. If the horrors of clinton had been published soon enough, he would never have ruined the dem party, and if davis's horrible treatment of women employee's was known-he would have never served a second term and ruined the state.
I blame the leftist media. Big time.
And I will always stand with Juanita Broaddrick, not because I want to belive her, but because I DO believe her.

When K. entered his office, he shouted, "f***ing pictures!" and violently shoved her out of his way, according to employees who were present. K. ran out, broke down in sobs, and was briefly hospitalized at Cedars Sinai for a severe, stress-related dermatologic reaction. According to one close friend, though K. suffered an emotional breakdownI despise Gray Davis, but this story is absurd. The woman suffered a traumatic emotional breakdown just because a man cursed and pushed past her? Give me a break! If true, this woman does not belong in any workplace, let alone the offices of a politician. I am not excusing Davis' bad behavior; if true, then he is an discourteous boor. But this certainly wouldn't merit any criminal or civil charges, nor would it merit the extreme reaction by the woman as described.
Just what kind of society are we creating when people are traumatized and hospitalized from hearing "ugly" words or subjected to a "shove"? Hell, one must wonder how this woman made it to work each day: she was likely to encounter "traumatizing events" of greater magnitude on any subway or a sidewalk.
I'm sick of political correctness. I'm sick of the effeminizing of our boys and our men. I'm sick of our overly-sensitive society. If we, as a nation, don't grow up and develop thicker skins, we will be speaking Arabic and bowing to Mecca within a decade.

Could be this was the incident that finally made her say "Enough!"
Just because it finally got reported doesn't mean this was the one and only occurrence (Davis said, "You know how I am".)

You may have a point. Look at it this way: if a woman was his apologist, enabler, she was in deep denial. She never thought he would turn on her, she was special. Then he gives her the Davis treatment and her entire emotional framework is shattered. That could definitely lead to a breakdown. The other woman I quoted above sounded a lot healthier. She just changed jobs. Anyway, I'm looking forward to this violent man being thrown out of office next week.
