I agree it doesn't look good, because it would be VERY easy for me to say, "I am not now, nor have I ever been, addicted to painkillers. I have never purchased or obtained painkillers from any source other than a doctor."

There is no information that needs to be gathered that would in any way affect this situation.

I'm at the same time here very moved by the realization that there are so many millions of you concerned for me and my family...here's the numb....story in Florida...really is an emergeing situation....I watch on TV and it changes....I don't know what I'm dealing with YET....when I get all the FACTS and DETAILS...rest assured I will discuss this with you and tell you everything and maybe more than you want to know....I don't want to answer any questions about it now....but I will fill you in it....your support means everything to me....nothing has changed in that regard....often said thru 15 years you people have made this an adult Christmas every day for me....little frustrated I havent' gotten to the bottom of what this is about, but until I know what "this" is it makes no sense to start delving into it....don't want to start responding to what's in the press....I want to say TRUST ME....I'm not even going to tell you how to look at what's in the press, just trust me, when I find out what all this is.....youare going to be among the first to know from ME...

Here is the nub of it at the moment. The story in Florida is a changing situation. I don't really know what I am dealing with here folks. When I get all of it I will fill you all in. I don't want to talk about it know. There may be more to it than you want to know. I haven't got to the bottom of what this is all about and until I know I don't want to deal with hypotheticals. I want to say trust me, just trust me when I find out what this is you will be among the first to know.

He doesn't know exactly what he's dealing with. Will answer all questions eventually when he has a handle on it. Will tell all, maybe more than we want to know. But he repeats he doesn't know what he's dealing with.

Frustrated that he hasn't gotten to the bottom of what this is all about. Until he knows exactly what this is he doesn't want to address it. Doesn't want to respond to what's in the press. Trust me, he says, and sounds like he would really like to say more...(I *think* he wants to issue a denial but has been advised not to say anything).
