He doesn't know exactly what he's dealing with. Will answer all questions eventually when he has a handle on it. Will tell all, maybe more than we want to know. But he repeats he doesn't know what he's dealing with.

Frustrated that he hasn't gotten to the bottom of what this is all about. Until he knows exactly what this is he doesn't want to address it. Doesn't want to respond to what's in the press. Trust me, he says, and sounds like he would really like to say more...(I *think* he wants to issue a denial but has been advised not to say anything).

Yeah, cuz if he says never, someone from college will show up and say we got high once in 1967, blah, blah, blah.... Bush's DWI all over again.

I think if it had merit, he wouldn't be on the air today.

When he said this I somehow didn't get the impression that he was talking about himself when he said "There may be more to it than you want to know."

He is going to post his statement on his web site, so I am going to read it again to see exactly how this was said.
