complaint I've heard so far was from a win98 user who noted constant re-buffering. I'm having no trouble with the media player coming up, and no trouble with any re-buffering. The sound just goes in and out, in and out quite fast. Sounding like a skipping record. As a result, I only hear every other word.
For example: If they were to recite: Mary had a little lamb, it's fleece was white as snow, and everywhere Mary went, the lamb was sure to go.
That would come out on my end as: Mary....little....it's flee... white....snow, and.....Mary...went...lamb...sure...go.

Offhand that sounds like not enough computer horsepower but that's just a guess. That's not the complaint I got from the win98 user. Have you run whatever updates there are for the windows media player 9 ?

Offhand that sounds like not enough computer horsepower but that's just a guess. Thats probably it. My computer is old. It was new in 96. I've never upgraded since then. Still the same amount of memory space (what with all the file stuff I have, running it with even less).

Nope. I dont think that my windows player is number 9. Much earlier version.

try upgrading to version 9, it's a better player even if I hate the way it handles "favorites."
