Offhand that sounds like not enough computer horsepower but that's just a guess.

Thats probably it. My computer is old. It was new in 96. I've never upgraded since then. Still the same amount of memory space (what with all the file stuff I have, running it with even less).

That's not the complaint I got from the win98 user. Have you run whatever updates there are for the windows media player 9 ?

Nope. I dont think that my windows player is number 9. Much earlier version.

try upgrading to version 9, it's a better player even if I hate the way it handles "favorites."
