If that word were SO offensive to blacks, they should object to being called that word by anyone, black, white, green or yellow!

Don't forget 'Uncle Tom', a blatantly racist label the way it's normally used. Any time someone is labelled by virtue of his race, that is racist, regardless of who says it. Anyone that expects a certain behavior from someone else because of his race is a racist.

Yes sports fans, we are so sensitive that we see racism where it isn't, that race relations in this country have a few more centuries to go before we can be colorblind, if that's what the NAACP really wants.

It's what they USED to want. Now they just want a reason to exist.

The furor over Limbaugh is centered on his success as a right-leaning radio talk show host "and a white guy on top of it all," self-described libertarian pundit Neal Boortz wrote on his website.

"Limbaugh is seen by the left as a huge, almost insurmountable threat to their designs on regaining control in (Washington) D.C.," Boortz said. "Limbaugh crossed a politically-correct line. Only liberals are allowed to bring race into any issue."

Agreed.

The sharks continue to circle....trying to go after what they percieve as the weakend prey....

While I regret Rush's remarks, I doubt the liberals would have complained if his opinion were stated the same and directed at an Asian instead of a Black.

Was this before or after Carr ripped into the billions of dollars wasted on the Big Hole, er Dig?

Howie Carr is no liberal. He is constantly railing against the shenanigans at the Big Dig, as well as the Mass Turnpike authority. He hates Clinton. He is opposed to taxes, affirmative action, welfare and almost every liberal policy you can name.

And what could be his reason for ripping Rush? Just covering his I'm no racist creds?

Obviously you were a huge non-biased Rush fan before the whole controversy (ha ha). I suggest that you listen, as I do, to other talk shows. Listen to Tony Kornheiser's show, on ESPN radio, where you will often hear social issues discussed. Kornheiser is a liberal, but I have no problem with his opinions even though I disagree with him on just about everything. They're just opinions.
