I would like to ask for prayer for Jacquelyn. She's 7 yrs old and was diagnosed with luekemia in late June. The prognosis isn't that great, the doctors give her no more than a 50/50 chance to survive. She has been taking chemotherapy treatments every other week and has been a trooper and so brave.
She is supposed to be having another treatment this week but she can't because she is too sick. She has a blood fungus and some kind of infection and she's in extreme pain. They have her on morphine. I'm just so concerned about her. She's such a beautiful little girl, so full of life and personality and I know she's in God's hands but we all love her so much we want her here with us.
My daughter-in-law said that she teared up in front of her the other and Jacquelyn hugged her and told her don't worry I'll be okay. Saturday, they let my grandchildren see her and they read her a book but she's been too sick most of the time to have any visitors except her parents.
I ask everyone I see to pray for her and I know how faithful so many of you are and I'd like you to add your prayers.
I wish I had a picture of her, you'd all fall in love with her immediately.

I'm pinging everyone, I hope that is okay.
We just talked to her mother and Jacquelyn has had a rough week. On Tuesday they were terrified that they were losing her because she was cold and clammy and gray-colored all day. Her parents are at her side 24/7 and lots of family and friends.
The good news is that she feels a little better today and is sleeping peacefully without a temperature, she does still throw-up though not as often. They have decreased the Morphine dose by 2/3s which I take as a good sign.
Thank you all so much for your prayers.

Of course you may ping me with any news of this child. I pray whe is feeling better today. Please God , watch over this child. Let her have a restful sleep so she can heal from this disease. Watch over her parents ,for they must be so frightened for their little girl. She is a blessing to them and to us. Please keep her from harm.

Thank you for the ping. I am so glad Jacqueline is feeling better. I have asked for prayers on the Logan thread for her. I know there are a lot of people standing in her corner. :)

Is it the kind of situation where a bone marrow transplant can be done?
