Of course it is. Bush has 20 MILLION regular and faithful listeners. When he endorses a product, it sells and companies make money. His advertising slots are also the most expensive on radio for that very same reason.

believe that they are fighting for their existence. They believe that they must wipe us out in order to survive.

Ordinarily I wouldn't go in for the tinfoil hat stuff - but really the psychosis has set in on the left and I believe that they are capable of anything now. The only thing that matters for them now is power. How they achieve it is of no concern to them.

This worries me. Isn't the House Ear Clinic, referred to in your link, where Rush was treated for his hearing condition? I feel horrible for Rush if this is theory is true.

I have no idea. That was just the first link that popped up linking vicodin and hearing loss. Lets don't connect the dots until we see the actual articles and hear from Rush.

Drudge has been attacking and spreading rumors on Arnold for some time now; Ann Coulter called in last Sunday night and was defending Arnold and trying to ask why Drudge was so negative on him.

Looks to me like Matt has crossed some good top sources and he is trying to get even with them.

Drudge is no Rush and any sports reporter or dem political hack after Limbaugh is in for either being ignored or buried.

Matt's Sunday night show on WABC is a contiual loop of a few items now; instant sleepiness occurs.

He fancies himself a king-maker or breaker and is frustrated he cannot pull the strings.

Drudge is reporting this as a media attack against Rush. And Rush quotes Drudge and the Drudge Report all the time.

What is it with you Drudge bashers? :-)

"Isn't the House Ear Clinic, referred to in your link, where Rush was treated for his hearing condition?"

Yes. It is perhaps the foremost hearing clinic in the world.

I have been very frustrated all day by the media and leftists spinning Rush's ESPN commentary into something it wasn't. Apparently conservatives are simply not allowed to discuss or opine regarding political correctness, media bias, or the like or it will be twisted to try to drive you off the scene. This story on top of that...this is just much too much for this Rush fan in one day :(. I pray it's not true. (I'm still depressed about Bill Bennett.) Something seems fishy.

Did some more research. Yes it was the House Ear Clinic. And at a press conference there:

Several reporters mentioned other causes of hearing loss, such as overuse of medications or over-exposure to high levels of sound through earphones used during radio broadcasts, and asked if any of these had caused Rush Limbaugh’s hearing loss. His physicians explained that overuse of medications is not a factor in Mr. Limbaugh’s case, and while noise-induced hearing loss (NIHL) is common among professionals in radio broadcasting, Mr. Limbaugh does not demonstrate the symptoms of NIHL.

PS I seem to remember Rush talking in the past about some serious back problems and wonder if there is any connection.

Weren't they caught making up stuff about Carol Burnett? Or was that some other, ahem, "publication"? And BTW, were they prescribed for him by an MD?

I thought National Enquirer was gossip rag?
Drudge is in danger of becoming one also.
I've seen way too many stories like this recently.
You never know what goes on inside folks but to say he's part of a drug ring, kinda cinched it for me. No way!

I agree it's a setup.

The Dems have to take Rush out before next year's presidential campaign because Rush is so effective in getting out the vote for the Republicans.

This sounds like Hitlery's goon squad at work. Betcha she will be the Dem candidate for Prez. Weasly Clark is just a paper tiger.

Drudge has been after Arnold for some time.

No bashing, just accurate telling of Matt's agenda there; it goes beyond reporting on the Arnold obsession Drudge has.

I doubt many are as aware of WABC and their regulars as I am; If so you would have heard me many times over the Klintonista period.

Drudge is not worth calling in to.

I'd rather have Larry Elder on Sunday nights instead of Drudge who has less then zero radio presence and ability to communicate with his callers.

Not exactly a Steve Malzberg or a Mark Levin, both who can keep a lively show going for hours and rarely find the need to repeat themselves or short circuit a caller. But then they are real pros.

Humorless with a few news items looped over and over for 3 hours every Sunday night gets old quick.
It's like he'll never get over his old FOX departure. They sure did.
