Hey, I share your sentiments and your anger! I've been using the "fifth column" label myself lately.
This is what I think (Others can dismiss it. I don't care):
I truly believe, in all seriousness, that Bush is fighting a fifth column and it is led by the Clintons. The war is here at home, a civil war concurrent with the war on terror. We just don't recognize it as a civil war yet. But future historical reflection--if Constitutional America survives--will prove it so.

rush is in FL

Drudge has the Kuwait WMD story up now.
Even though I'm a big fan of Rush, I would take his story being true if the WMD story were true too, and got the media attention it deserves.
My question is, with all of these other scandals out there, how is Grey Davis going to make any noise with his last minute Arnold stories?

Those FBI files sure sound like they came in handy for some of these "outings." When you go back to Paladino/IGI and all those connected with Clinton, this has been their MO from the beginning. And if you recall, alot of those working with this group are ex-CIA/FBI guys who easily get access to some of this info. I think this is still a part of the scorched earth policy that started in the late 90's.

Yes. But I'm not worried. Rush always lands on his feet. Like those dang cats he's always talking about.

That hits a strong point. Remember the people who own the Enquirer are strong friends with Sid "vicious" Blumenthal, who is Hitlaries hitman.
This has all the trappings of a Blumenthal hit piece. Drudge should have been able to smell a rat. ESPECIALLY the rat who tried to bite Drudge.
The Clinton's know they can't win if people are informed by rush. The Demcrat party must really be dying faster than estimated.

Sportcenter is now running a poll on the Rush/McNabb controversy. They also have Mitch Albom and the first black quaterback basically calling for Rush's resignation. It's amazing that those in the media who should cherish the 1st Amendment are the ones being the most outspoken on this. Libs are pieces of *hit. I remember when Bill Mahr said that crap about US soldiers and the terrorists and how it was Rush and Hannity who defended his right to say it while others where calling for his firing. Yet, these same "freedom of the press" losers can't find a way to defend Rush's 1st Amendment rights. It's time to get in the trenches.

I am so intensely sick of this!! Where's the girl and the stained dress? We are the ones who need to turn up the heat!
To: dogbyte12
I don't disagree with you and i am dismayed that this story has come to light. I find it hard to believe that Rush is a drug abuser...Obviously he has no financial incentive to become a dealer of prescription drugs. One has to wonder why a wire was put on him? Even if they were for his own legitimate use why would the police get involved in this "personal use" issue (if that is even the case).
However, if there is indeed something to the story are you still dismayed that Drudge posted it?

you're sick

as Henry Lee would say "somesing no righ"
To: cwboelter
Rush thinks politically and culturally 24/7. That's where he comes from. Why doesn't everybody just take the Rush/McNabb comment and view it as positive. Everyone knows the guy will do everything possible to prove Rush wrong and do a better job on the field.
To: TexasTransplant
Yup. And the troops for the other side are the entrenched government workers who are the 'nobles' in the new fuedal scheme.
