Al Franken to bash Brit Hume, Fox News during USO tour in Afghanistan, Iraq

Insecure, vulgar writer Al Franken, who now claims to be a satirist, revealed during a fund-raising speech to the DNC in New York this week that he is planning on going full bore against the Fox News channel and its anchor Brit Hume.

Franken disclosed during the speech that he is still mad about Brit's remark statistically comparing US fatality rate in Iraq to violent deaths in California and that he is planning on attacking Fox News and Brit Hume for alleged insensitivity and callousness towards troops.

Viewers of Bill O'Reilly's The Factor may recall Franken's tirade early last week at a campaign rally for Howard Dean in which he lashed out at Fox News and its personalities in a deranged diatribe full of four letter words.

Franken apparently will also make fun of Fox News for their unsuccessful effort to sue him for trademark infringement, which led to skyrocketing sales of his book because of the publicity.

During the speech, Franken blasted Fox News for not being patriotic enough towards the troops.
