Major California Newspapers get BURNED on Recall advice!
Posted on 09/28/2003 5:26:20 PM PDT by RogerWilko
I just saw on KCRA Channel 3 in Sacramento, that the LA Times, Sacramento Bee, and either the San Francisco Chronicle or San Jose Mercury (Man, I should have payed closer attention! Damn!) are all suggesting that US Californians vote NO on the Recall! But according to the latest Gallup Poll, they are getting fried! 63% YES 35% NO!! Take that you clueless liberal apologists! Most people aren't as dumb as you hoped!

When the liberal Gallup poll comes out with news like this a week before the election, you know the game is over. I don't expect the figures to change much in the final week before Election Day.

...as usual. The media seems to be the last to get a clue.

Me as king for a day? I'd pass a law requiring any media endorsing a candidate to publish the results of the election vs. their endorsements so their readers could see how closely or how far off their "news source" was from their own view/vote.
PS: I am not going to hold my breath awaiting this change ...

This is looking better and better all the time! This HAS to be a success to show all these damn politicians that they CAN be held accountable and people will THROW your SORRY A** out of office if you're a TOTAL LOSER! And Dufus is a TOTAL LOSER!!

Well, perhaps they assume we don't have goldfish memories ... and can, in fact, recall what they said.

Righto. If it was close at all Gallup would over sample the Dem voters on a poll and declare that the anti-recall voters were surging ahead. Then they'd put out an accurate poll the day before the election.
To produce an honest poll a week ahead must mean it really is over.

either the San Francisco Chronicle or San Jose MercuryIt was the SJ Mercury.... I just heard that on the news, too.
Every time they call wanting me to sign up for the paper I tell them, "no - your paper is too liberal and I wouldn't even line my bird's cage with it, if I even had a bird".
Cheers, CC :)

They will probably say oh how sad,
I'm sorry, and then try to sell you the paper.
Then you can tell them why you don't need it to line the cage.
If I am really busy when they call, their first words are "Mr. Syncro, we would like to deliver the Press Democrat free Monday through Saturday to your house."
I just say, ok you have my name and phone number you must have my address, go right ahead winter is coming on and I need a fire starter. Then I hang up.
I don't wait for them to say I have to pay for the Sunday paper at 2 bucks a week.
So my driveway stays uncluttered...
