It was good to hear B-1 Bob Dornan supporting Tom McClintock.

More importantly, theres a significant percentage of undecided voters in the polls. Watch how they break on Oct7th.

I'm sure there are 538 Nader voters in Florida who disagree with you.

Okay, so I should have written that it is highly unlikely to make any difference. According to the current FR poll, 649 votes are still with McClintock, and 119 switched to McClintock, totalling 768, which probably includes the opinions of out-of-staters.

Based on all those recent polls, I just don't think the election will be so close that 500 votes would change the results.

Bruce Hserschensohn is also backing McClintock. Is there a divide between older and newer Republicans?

Hannity has lost a lot of respect that I had for him.

Even if he has supported arnold from day one, he has played a game that he was being impartial and would "decide" whom to support next week "based on the polls".

He has been nothing but a arnold "shill" for the last 3 weeks with this week "frosting the cake".

Every word that comes out of his mouth now must be pondered as to "who's agenda is he pushing this time". It certainly isn't the "conservative" one...

I cheered when they replaced Dr. Laura with Sean a few months ago. Not so today.

Michael Savage announced on his show yesterday that Schwarzenegger would win by the same margin stated by CNN...with Arnold getting around 50%.

It's never wrong to stand for what you believe. Some folks know they can only live with being true to themselves. They may stand like defiant warriors, outnumbered on a windswept hill, but courage carries an honor more lasting and valuable than the successful outcome of one battle.

AMEN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

>>>Bruce Hserschensohn is also backing McClintock.

There are a few conservative Republicans backing McClintock. Lyn Nofziger, Michael Reagan, Michael Savage, George Will, Jim Robinson, along with Bob Dornan and Bruce Herschensohn. The short list. ;^)

>>> Is there a divide between older and newer Republicans?

I think theres a divide between smart Republicans, in the pro-McClintock wing and dumb Republicans, in the pro-Schwarzenegger-liberal/win at any price wing.

I listened when he interviewed McClintock a few weeks ago, and that was a disaster -- Sean couldn't stop prodding McClintock to withdraw long enough to ask any substantive question or wait for an answer without interrupting. I haven't listened to Sean much lately, either, and I don't seem to miss it.

Since talk radio hosts are really dependent on keeping or growing their listener base, they are somewhat dependent on the polls. Given Schwarzenegger's popularity across the nation, compared to McClintock's support primarily in CA only (and perhaps less than Schwarzenegger's, even among the radio audience), I think it's a business decision for Sean to endorse Schwarzenegger.

Sean can be really funny, though, and it's just too bad that this election is so polarizing. If the election were one strong R against Bustamante and Huffington, Sean would have an easier time on his show. With two major R's, one conservative but less popular than the other, Sean risks alienating half of his audience with all the turf battles between callers.

Arnol(D) has been annointed by the global elite. Its pretty hard to lose when they control 80-90% of the media. He has been hanging with them for twenty years. We don't have parties anymore, we have "the spirit of the Great Whore of Babylon, which decieves the great men of the Earth". Just another sign of how close to "the Revelation of Jesus Christ" we are. Then all this Babylonian confusion will disappear, when His Kingdom begins to appear.

If Kaleefornya is like other states, B1 Bob, or anyone else
who changes their mind last minute can go to the polls the
day of the election.

Their absentee ballot gets TOSSED OUT, and they re-vote on election day!!!

I don't think so. They can go to the polls and cast a provisional ballot, but it's unlikely to count because the absentee ballots are mixed and counted first, before the poll-location ballots even return to the county registrar.

Assemblyman Jay LaSeur (R-77) speaks in ads for McClintock run by the El Cajon Gun Exchange in the San Diego area. LaSeur is a great guy, too!

There are scores of liberals who are afraid of McClintock, because they fear their pork may get cut or exposed or they know how difficult it is to extract wasteful concessions from him. There are also many, many Republicans who find it politically expedient to be seen endorsing a winner; they're afraid of losing campaign money if they openly support a loser, as Bill Jones discovered in 2002 after he supported McCain in 2000.

But, I always have the same problem at elections: with millions of other voters in CA, my vote for governor, and even the votes of my friends and family, won't make a dent in the total numbers. Even if all the McClintock-supporting Freepers and lurkers voted for Schwarzenegger, it wouldn't make any difference.

That doesn't make any sense. All the individual voters are what make up the millions. Secondly, unfortunately many people do not vote. I believe it is the most shameful waste of one's citizenship to not cast a vote.

Obviously people can vote for whom they please. The point of Dornan suggesting McClintock make such a statement, is because many of McClintock's supporters will stick with him and vote for him, regardless of polls. His statement would be the equivalent of dropping out.

I am really torn. I can't stand the thought of governor Cruz. However, Arnold will not take a strong stance against illegal immigration which is one of the root causes for California's continuing demise. I hate to see this state and country dying by incrementalism by voting for "moderate" republicans.

I noticed. I lost alot of respect for him...I thought he spoke for Conservatives, but I guess I was wrong.
