While I favor Arnold, I think it's only fair for the voters to have a choice. About a half a million have already voted. Let the names remain and let the people do the right thing for their state and their country.
If California financial crisis worsens it will be a very black day for them and the country.

Last night I was researching some comments on here and came across a thread where one of the most vocal anti-Arnold folks not from California was asking who McClintock was. That same individual went on to say that ISSA was a RINO. No one could believe that he said that and came back with ISSA had a 94% voting record.
Since that time that poster and the McC folks have taken up the mantra of calling anyone who supports Arnold as a RINO and worse. IMO, any poster that would call Issa a RINO has an agenda at play and that agenda has been co-opted by other members of the McC fan club on here. Seems if you are not a McC supporter you cannot be a "true" Republican or a "principled" conservatiave so you must be a RINO.
Something is wrong here with that thinking and I am not quite sure what it is except that agenda will most likely carryover into the 2004 election.
I have tremendous respect for Issa and sincerely hope that he is rewarded with stepping aside for the good of all Californians.

but just wait...
The next L.A.Slime poll no doubt will show Bustamountie 1st,
Arnold a distant 2nd, and Tom nearly passing Arnold.

My hope is that in three years we are not calling Arnold "Jumping Jim Arnold." Jefford's voters voted for him as the only way to win in a liberal dominated state.

f California financial crisis worsens it will be a very black day for them and the country. There is no future tense as far as CA goes. We are living in that "Black Day".... Thus the passion. Thus the need for a Recall and to Dump Davis.
To: Reagan Man
. Another "so-called" conservative Republican throwing away his principles in order to assure the election of a liberal named, Arnold. What an absolute joke. HELLO!!!!!
The object here is to recall Davis....not a spitting match over who is more conservative.

Darrell is the REASON we are having the recall. Actuall, while Issa certainly helped with his money, it was Ted Costa that got the ball rolling.

Funny, Melanie Morgan on KSFO takes credit for getting the ball rolling. Nothing happens without the funding.

McClintock is holding out for a favor from Arnold. Hopefully, support for his run against Biohazard Boxer. Arnold's best gambit here is to loudly endorse McClintock as an exceptional GOP opponent for Boxer and thereby reenerize his supporters in a different direction and take some of there votes on Oct. 7.

If McClintock made a promise to Issa to get out of the race to avoid being a spoiler and now will not get out of the race, seems his big claim that he is a man who keeps promises was nothing but a big, fat, lying campaign ploy in his closing statements at the debate.
