57% for Republicans
13% for Demorats

Good news indeed.

Maybe McClintock is holding out for a sweeter "deal" from Arnold??

He deserves a lot for effectively communicating conservative principles to a large liberal audience. His participation in that forum was a win-win for the good guys.

I think Tom would be better off dropping out at this point. If he is right and Aronld will raise taxes then he has a plantform for 06

Arnold's press conference right after the debate was genius. I though it made him look like a governor and all ther press covered it. I think that conference was good for a 5 pt Bump for Arnold.

Issa is endoring Arnold.

If you like Issa -- and I like him too, he did the noble thing, by not getting into the race -- then why don't you take his recommendation and vote for Arnold, as Issa recommends.

Well said. I disagree.

I will not vote for Schwarzenegger and think it is better for the Republican party and the nation for Schwarzenegger not to win.

He overshot any sweet deal at this point. The trick to any deal is timing - and Arnie has the benefit of a buyer's market at this late hour.

Let's just hope that Arnold is not all talk. You know he's good at that. He's been an actor all his life.

Well, I suspect Arnold will pull this off. Perhaps he could help McClintock get elected as senator in exchange for his support.

Arnold says he complimented Arianna last night by comparing her to the strong women in the Terminator movies. On Hannity-Studio Applause.

I agree about Tom being in this for himself over the party looking for a better deal or everything for HIMSELF.

Notice that McClintock and Arnold doidn't attack each other at the debate? Perhaps they are working to the end and then Tom will endorse Arnold in exchange for ARNOLD'S campaigning for him for senator.

I would hardly call Bill Simon and Darrell Issa a bunch of RINOs. They're both strong conservatives but are also pragmatic enough to realize that it is better to have Arnold pushing fiscal conservative policies than Bustamante destroying the state of California.

Not everyone who supports Arnold is a RINO.

The "Rendell Effect" has started.

Remember when Ed Rendell (former head of the DNC) called for Gore -- who was stubborn as a mule -- to concede to Bush, and the dominos started falling?

Well, my cousins in Long Beach and LA have called -- they are GOP transplants from NY. Anyway, they supported McClintock, and now they have conceded that they don't want to split the vote and will vote for Arnold.

I've heard more of this from others.

The Rendell effect has started.

Hannity is definitely not the next Rush Limbaugh. He is a Republican supporter and will do anything for the Republican party. I think he has really put the blinders on in this election. Disappointing. Rush didn't endorse McClintock but definitely thinks he is the best candidate for the conservative cause.

This is going to get interesting. If McClintock does drop out, a lot of his supporters will call him a sell out. If he stays and the Dems win all the RINOS and Republican Inc. will despise him. He is in a tough place. If I was him, I would stay in.
