The following is quoted from GWB State of the Union:

"Some have said we must not act until the threat is imminent. Since when have terrorists and tyrants announced their intentions, politely putting us on notice before they strike? If this threat is permitted to fully and suddenly emerge, all actions, all words, and all recriminations would come too late. Trusting in the sanity and restraint of Saddam Hussein is not a strategy, and it is not an option."

SOTU quoted to dispute Democrat’s mantra that the president claimed Iraq's danger was imminent. They lie and mislead everytime they utter this.

Given the President's well-known expectations of loyalty, that was an underhanded, cunning, indeed, diabolical suggestion.

I like it very much.

We'll see if blood is thicker than... er, water.

Lets get both sides to email Arnold and ask for a public response.

A public response to 'uncle' would go a long way towards proving his stance, his loyalty.

The interesting aspect of this Fox article is that it quotes only Bennet, Santorum and DeLay, and only DeLay seems truly outraged. Three voices from the party in power. And what a bogus political party it is. Meanwhile the "progressive" Kennedy, Conyers, Leahy and Dodd get all the ink.

"The White House should immediately apologize to Senator Kennedy for calling his legitimate criticism of the rush to war 'uncivil,'" Conyers said.

Oh, I get it. Kennedy accuses Bush of what would be a crime, but Bush must apologize for questioning Kennedy's manners.

John Conyers is a senile old racist partisan fool.

Fine...lets have an open, candid exchange of views regarding the dead girl found in his car when it was hauled out of the water a few decades ago.

Yesssssssssssssssssssss...good one.

Here is an opportunity for Arnold to show his metal.

Publicly take a stance on Ted's and the other Dems remarks and accusations.

Arnold has an awesome opportunity handed to him by the dems.

Come out publicly and strongly against Ted's comments and in support of Bush

E-mail the Arnold campaign - this would play the rest of the week and the weekend. This could hand Arnold the win.

Arnold is not setting Iraq policy, he is trying to turn CA around.

Do people hold YOU responsible for the actions of YOUR relatives, including relatives by marriage?

If the Democrats want any respect, they should ask Teddy boy to resign.

Maybe if instead of attacking Bush, Kennedy and other Democrats were supporting his efforts to fight this war, we'd have more luck getting the international support that they say they want.

I did not say one thing about holding him responsible.

Of course he has no input in Foreign Policy – he does have impact on the GOP though and one of the benefits you have touted is the help he can give Bush.

Why not do it? Will he always avoid confrontation with Teddy? I think he can do it and I think it will impress allot of fence sitters and Tom supporters – this will give Arnold the victory.

Kennedy is NOT in CA. He has nothing to do with CA.

As I said, I'd like to see you run around taking to task all your relatives, including relatives by marriage, every time they say something you don't agree with.
