Heh. You think YOU'VE been slandered? I actualy had people at work making remarks about this - don't know how they heard about the press release, but they mentioned it several times, and referred to FR in less than flattering terms because of it. I can't even imagine how bad it must have been down in Cali...

I can't even imagine how bad it must have been down in Cali... It's worse than bad. My husband and I have a business in our community and have had to explain to countless people, who have seen us on the news and know we rally at the corner of Blackstone and Shaw, what FreeRepublic is about, that we are NOT affiliated with a hate group. We have been put on the defensive in having to restore our good name to our customers and others in our community. The repercussions of this labeling by the HRC is much worse than we had anticipated.

Interesting Chad that people heard about this in Washington State. Do you know if it was reported in the media up there? We would be interested to know if it was.

"I actualy had people at work making remarks about this" There is a guy I work with that has been spreading around that I am in a cult because of my association with FR.
