A divorced man donated part of his liver to his ex-wife earlier this year at the suggestion of his new fiancee.
Well, it's not my threesome fantasy...

I find this to be amazingly noble. The man is a saint. The world is a better place because he is in it.

Wonderful story.
My best friend died a few days ago for lack of a donor. I will miss her terribly.

Well, I see the usual crowd is here damning marriage. Never mind. My ex-wife and I get along very well. We were married for 14 years. If she needed a liver transplant, and mine was compatible, I'd donate part of it to her. And my current wife of 12 years would be right behind me.
Not every divorce is nasty, and not every ex-wife is out to get all she can.
Kudos to this guy for his generous offer. He saved a life. All you who are ragging on him and his ex are way out of line, in my opinion. I'm sorry your marriages ended badly, but that doesn't mean that this guy didn't do a good thing.

I am going through Divorse Because of this same disease. Ive lived with her diagnosis for four years and the medications and mood swings and a certain therapist have made my live hell. Mood swings, Calling CPS, threatning my life. Cirrhosis is never easy to go through for the family of victims either. Most of the Profesionals tell me to divorce because its going to get worse. A shame since we never even got a chance to try antideppresent. Please evaluate your own situation.
