Hotels Rated By Stars, Heat Measured In BTUs, Ted Kennedy Statements To Use "Fingers of Scotch"

There is a unit of measure for anything that can be measured. Like I said in the title, hotels are rated by the number of stars, with more stars meaning a better hotel.
Temperature is measured in degrees, with more degrees indicating higher temperatires.
Well I hearby announce the official measure to gage the lunacy of statements made by Democrat Senator Ted Kennedy, the "Fingers of Scotch Scale".
Senator Kennedy's statements will now be rated according to how many "Fingers of Scotch" in a normal 14 oz rocks class it took before he was sloshed enough to make whatever inane statement appears in the press.
Will a Mister "Registered" please report to the courtesy desk, your help designing the "Kennedy FIngers of Scotch" unit of measure icon is needed.

I'm thinking little icons, each with additional fingers as we go up the scale.

I saw something similar to that once, but I disremember where, exactly... So I just did a Google Search for "Finger Scale", but I can't post the results - this is a family forum.

I'm talking about fingers held horizontally, to show how deep to fill the glass.
But we are talking about Ted Kennedy and with the way he's been braying lately, he may just be holding the fingers vertically, one over the other, to show how much Scotch he desires.

Oh, I understand what you meant. I've seen a graphic of that some time ago, but I'll be darned if I can't find it now... It was a 'review' site for whiskey.
Maybe an idea would be to devise a 'rating scale' for whiskey based on "How many fingers of this stuff would Kennedy drink?"

Yes, I think we all understand the concept of "fingers" of scotch. It's just that whenever Kennedy and his babbling comes up I automatically think of one finger. ;-)

Maybe an idea would be to devise a 'rating scale' for whiskey based on "How many fingers of this stuff would Kennedy drink?" We'dhave to set a time limit of say, oh, ten seconds. Otherwise it wouldn't be fingers, it would be "an arm and a leg".
