But we are talking about Ted Kennedy and with the way he's been braying lately, he may just be holding the fingers vertically, one over the other, to show how much Scotch he desires.

Oh, I understand what you meant. I've seen a graphic of that some time ago, but I'll be darned if I can't find it now... It was a 'review' site for whiskey.

Maybe an idea would be to devise a 'rating scale' for whiskey based on "How many fingers of this stuff would Kennedy drink?"

Yes, I think we all understand the concept of "fingers" of scotch. It's just that whenever Kennedy and his babbling comes up I automatically think of one finger. ;-)
