I was just reading this story in the Contra Costa Times. This just infuriates me. There can be Hispanic clubs, African-American clubs, Asian clubs, but let somebody want a Caucasian club, and the cries of "Racism!!" start ringing out. What a bunch of flamin' hypocrites! Some jerk even brings up the KKK and David Duke!!

This is not good. The last thing we need in this country is for white people to start banding together because of their race. It is wrong that blacks do it, and I am not in favor of all the race-specific items that they come up with both politically and socially (Congressional Black Caucus, Miss Black America, etc.)

When whites start this sort of thing it is really the case of 2 wrongs don't make a right. Yes, whites are a minority on a global scale (only about 10% of the global population.) But a white racial movement in the US would be a set-back to all the things we say are wrong in race relations -- the race-centric politics and race specific serepations. Defining and seperating yourself because of your skin color is stupid no matter who does it. Better that we get past this condition rather than exascerbating it.
