It's blue day!
"Song Sung Blue"
"Love is Blue"
("Song Sung Blue" was popular in 1973 or 1974, when my daughter was young enough that she couldn't understand why, when we got in the car, I couldn't instantly make the radio play that song. ... This is back in the old days when we didn't have turntables in our cars, you understand.) ;)

Have you ever played Ray Steven's "Ahab the Arab" for the troops!? ;)
"Larry" is another good one; and "Amish Paradise" is, too, but the "Arab" seems more appropriate, for some unknown non-PC reason. ;)

I mixed Weird Al in with Ray Stevens. (What's the Ray Stevens song where the squirrel gets loose in church?) ;)

Good! ('cause otherwise it's kinda feelin' like I'm here talking to myself again. LOL)
I need more humor songs! For some reason, listening to the Vogues isn't peppin' me up. Beautiful songs. "Moments to Remember" makes me think of how the 'Cowboy spent his time at the drive-in. ... I'm blocking on who sang the "ooga chucka" version of "Hooked on a Feeling" and it's driving me crazy! Vonda Shepherd's version is good, but it just isn't the same as the one my daughter and I'd harmonize during car trips. ;)

You're thinking "Mississippi Squirrel"
"Revival" might be in the title somewhere. Guess I'll have to go to Amazon and search for titles. I think it's too new to be on any of the albums I have. (My dad had the Ray Stevens videos and loved watching those! The squirrel one was on the videos, along with "Hello, It's Me Margaret," another hilarious one. Or at least I think the guy was calling Margaret. ... I was born the same year as Elvira, btw; this C-Nile virus should NOT be hitting me as hard as it has been lately! LOL!!!)

the weather station in Manassas says we will get TEN-TWELVE more inches of rain, courtesy of a storm named Isabel.
