Gay Pride Celebrated at Dollywood
14 September 2003
Gay Day`s are beginning to become a normal occurrance at theme parks across the country. Disney has one, and so does Kings Island.
Today, Dollywood joined the fold.
But, it isn`t a park sanctioned event.
East Tennessee Gay Pride organized a "Gay Day" at Dollywood for the gay, lesbian, bisexual & transgendered community.
It`s the first time they decided to end their week long festivities at Dollywood.
The "Gay Day" caught some off guard.
Even Dollywood`s public relations manager didn`t know the final pride festivities would be taking place there. Some families visiting Dollywood say it didn`t change their experience.
Nearly 400 gay people entered the park before 11 a.m. Gay couples say they did get noticed.
Gay pride event organizers say it took three months to organize and hoped it brought about awareness.

JESUS DEFINES MARRIAGE: "And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female, And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh? Wherefore, they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder." -from THE BIBLE: Matthew 19:4-6

Today, Dollywood joined the fold. But, it isn`t a park sanctioned event. Doesn't have to be. For the first few Disney Gay Day events, the gays just showed up and took over the park, daring the company to evict them.
Once the company realized how much revenue the freaks were bringing with them, not to mention the PC media blitz, they tacitly "sanctioned" the event. The rest is history.

Having taken their agenda successfully to DisneyWorld, they're now moving on to other venues. Don't think it will fly in Nashville.

Yes, they are going out of their way to be "{in your face." 400 homos in Tennessee? Sounds like they did some recruiting.

I predict we wioll start to see some parks close for 'gay' pride week as a hedge against the perverst coming in. Somewhat like larger numbers of establishments in various florida towns close for black spring break

Gay couples say they did get noticed. Yeah, they made sure they got noticed. Barf alert.
...and hoped it brought about awareness.
Notice how they say acceptance or worse yet, "celebration" of same sex acts RAISES peoples' consciousness? Disgusting doublespeak. More accurate to say lowers awareness, shoving it down into the septic tank.
And they managed to supposedly find a few families who didn't mind. How many WERE offended or disgusted? Of course the reporter doesn't say.

Nashville would be a more receptive venue for them than Dollywood. That's Sevierville, Tn. for God's sake. Who'd of thunk? They offered my wife a job as Director of Communications when they started Dollywood and she wanted no part of it because it was to far out in the sticks. What has happened to my country?
