Q: What should the U.S. do next?
A: Frankly, if there was a President Gore, we wouldn't be in this particular mess. But we are, and we cannot fail. I very much hope there will be a U.N. resolution that makes clear the U.S. has military command but that would set up a U.N. high representative to coordinate the political and humanitarian things the U.N. does very well.

More Q&A in article, including...
Q: Did you neglect the threat posed by Osama bin Laden and leave it for the Bush Administration to clean up?
A: President Clinton focused on terrorism from the start. The CIA set up a special bin Laden division, and the President authorized the use of lethal force against him. We struck his camp in 1998 after the embassy bombings, and we came close. President Bush has been in Afghanistan with 8,000 troops, and they still haven't found him.

What's aggravating is that she still gets treated by the lamestream press as though she is still relevant. The press continues to give the former Xlinton officials the platform to spin history. It's funny to watch at times, but aggravating.

like she, Sandy B , Bill, Hill, et al. hadn't left the barn door open for the Bin Laden crew's easy entry by wimpy responses to WTC I, Cole bombings, and their total emasculation of the intelligence agencies. well, apparently Maddy is running for a spot in the new Gore/Clinton/Clark/Gephardt or name your favorite Dem candidate's........administration comin' right up. fat chance!

Nope, doesn't make my blood boil. Just shows her up for the silly, ignoramous woman she truly is. All I can say is thank GOD there was not a President Gore or we would have been worse off.
I'm proud of George W. Bush our elected President of the United States. A man of his word and conviction. Word and Conviction...didn't find those words or evidence thereof anywhere in the previous clintin-loserman administration.
Maddy was never taken seriously by the USA or foreign countries anyway so who does she think she talking to????She was a figurehead is all.... just another pawn in the clintin/loserman administration of the PAST!!!
Nope, I am secure knowing President Bush and his administration are in charge and also proud he is from the state of Texas even though I am not.

What Non-Bright needs is a quicklime enema. She has completely shut down any original thought that took root in her head.

"What's aggravating is that she still gets treated by the lamestream press as though she is still relevant."She was never relavant. She was always a bloodthirsty psychopath who thinks our troops are are cannon fodder to acheive the culmination of the Third Way. Remember Kosovo and Somalia. Never forget Albright BRAGGING about how WE trained and armed the "ethnic Albanians" so they could take over...and then helped them do just that. We're still looking for those "mass graves"

Three initials before surname? That's so precocious and self-indulgent, he's definitely on the fast track to David Corn's casting couch.
To: jmstein7
Madeline Albright?
Doesn't she like, clean houses or something?
Apparently several world leaders believe so.
In that case I can see why Clinton kept her so close to the oral office.
Apparently she doesn't do laundry.

Come to think of it you're right. She and Helen Thomas both should be required to wear a burka so as not to frighten small children.
