I figured as much because I was thinking the same thing. I've run my butt off today. Oh, BTW I wrecked the van. Well actually I ran the side of it into the house and wrecked the van and the house. Jack has been very sweet about it. I think he's happy because he told me several times that I couldn't handle the van and (you know me) I insisted that I could handle it just fine. How was I to know that the rear wouldn't follow the front end when I headed out the driveway?

Nan and I are the same age group, Meg.
Had to clean my room Saturday morning to earn the 25 cents to go to the matinee and cheer the good guys - it was 5 cents to get in, and the rest for candy, plural.
Other than that, we had only radio, of course, and no television!
Comic books and the funnies in the paper - - I still want to know what happened to Jungle Joy, whose plane was lost in South America - Smilin' Jack's wife.....

The war drives!I remember when the admission went up to 12cents!Inflation!Stamp collecting was big and my favorite thing to do was to make paper dolls from out of date pattern catalogues.

Well, I would like to say that I am shocked that I am your favorite niece, but I always knew you had impeccable taste! LOL. Well, as long as my other nieces don't lurk on FR, I'm okay. ;-)
Have a ton of fun at the rally and the tailgate party! Wish I was there to taste Daddio's tri-tip!
