Farewell
We all know that boy named Sue, And heard that train a comin. We all loved his craggy voice, And the guitar he was strummin. We'll miss ol John but he'll be here, We'll hear him in our hearts. He's gone home to be with June, And now the music starts.

The songs have been in my head all day. It's hard to write with his music blaring. I miss him. God Bless him and I'm glad he is with June again.

The first thing I thought upon hearing of his passing , was that he and June were reunited. She didn't have too wait too long for him to join her.
RIP John and June

Just what he sang in the "HighwayMan". "Maybe I'll become a highwayman again, or maybe just a single drop of rain. I'll be back again & again & again........
I'll always believe that he passed of a broken heart, not what the quacks said!
Of course that has to be one great jam session in Heaven right now too!
RIP Mr Cash!

My being bummed out all day long (after hearing the news) is purely selfish.
I WANTED to hear more from him.
I wanted to listen to him sing live one more time.

We can keep him alive (as well as the other Icons, Elvis Sinatra, and anyone else you feel belongs in that category) by keeping their music playing. And hopefully, we can turn NEW fans on to their music too, so THEY can keep them alive as well!
To: Luis Gonzalez
Thanks for the ping, Luis.
