PS: jjm2111, when I first put up this thread, if I could have found even more graphic images, I'd have included them. It's essentially the same debate that occurred when the Nick Berg beheading video surfaced. To show the naked truth, or to hide it. I'm for showing the naked truth.

Good day, Onyx. Hope your holiday weekend was terrific. I was disheartened by two things over the holiday. First, what seemed to me to be the rather tepid reception the audience gave GWB at the WWI memorial dedication on Saturday. Granted, the audience was mostly folks who are 60+, but I guess I hoped for a warmer reception nevertheless (the one at Arlington the next day was great).

The second thing that got me a bit down is the fact that in my new neighborhood there were only about three or four flags out yesterday. In fact, there weren't very many out anywhere in my locality. Less than three years out from 9/11/01. Sigh.

Not a chance. Ever.

I won't forget that damned LuLu hag in post #7, either.

Hope she's set to "slow bake" in Hell right now.

Never forget!

As long as the Good Lord gives me the capacity to remember, I will. I just hope the American people remember when they go to the polls this November — and I hope they make the right choice.

Yep. I've learned a lot about Islamist hate these last few years.

Good afternoon to you, Wolfstar.
I didn't watch TV over the weekend.
Flags were also noticeably absent in
my neighborhood, but I am surrounded
by democrats.

Add some brainwashing to that list! The height of self absorbance is killing someone for the sake of your own religious beliefs. No ones after life is worth the lives of others. Anyone who teaches the cult like beliefs should be exterminated.

Never Forget!

Just in case we needed a reminder: "Not all terrorist networks answer to the same orders and same leaders, but all terrorists burn with the same hatred. They hate all who reject their grim vision of tyranny. They hate people who love freedom. They kill without mercy. They kill without shame. And they count their victories in the death of the innocent." --President Bush

The Palestinian response to this butchery:

This is no time for real obscenity.

a moment of appreciation for the souls who made the choice to leap from the North Tower
of the WTC.
As USA Today documented in a story from the first anniversary, a fair number of
people in the South Tower who saw/heard of that desparate escape from immolation
decided it was time to leave and made their way to safety.

Otherwise, they might have tarried and perished when the South Tower collapsed.

That is a very good point. The desperate leap of those souls doubtless saved many, many lives. Their deaths were not in vain.

We honor all of them.
