Those aren't very bad (graphic) pictures. I have seen much worse. On a moving memorial dedicated to the 90-11 victims that visited my city library last year, there was far worse. I won't even try to describe it...needless to say, you were correct. It was raining people that day. I saw a shot with 8 people falling simultaneously...the couple holding hands and stepping out together..and a lot of people who died instantly and were blown out the side of the WTC during the explosion...horrible

A couple of days ago, someone posted an article that said Mr. Hingson and Roselle have moved to Northern California, where he has a new job working for Guide Dogs for the Blind. He travels the country as a spokesman for them.

Media intentionally ignoring the fact that little children were murdered on that terrible day.

My family is in DC. My understanding is that the 3 kids from the DC elementary schools were on a trip with a teacher who had promised parents to 'keep them safe' on their first airplane trip.

According to my sisters, this story got a lot of play in the DC media. One of my sisters is a school teacher, so there was a lot of talk amongst them as well. Maybe it didn't go national, but I did hear about it at least once out here on the left coast and then got details from my family.

It is sad, just sad beyond words.

I was in a small department store today and was commenting about some of the writing on T shirts, etc.

The woman said that all that stuff was why the muslims hate us.

I nearly tore the woman's head off. Don't care what they think. They can't hate me any more than I hate them. They have NO excuse whatsoever for the way they treat their own let alone what they did to Americans.....etc etc etc.........

There's an editorial in today's student newspaper from my university ripping President Bush for this, that, and the other thing, and part of it is that "he got us into this expensive worthless war." I feel the same way about that editorial. It totally ignores the REASON why we're in this war. HOW DARE THEY?

Years spent bashing the US for not staying in Afghanistan after the Soviet Union was routed.

Years spent bashing the first President Bush because he didn't go all the way to Baghdad.

No one seems to be pointing out the hypocracy of these bashers.
