The Straight Truth About ProtestGayDay.com Mike Cramer, who is the President of Operations with the Texas Rangers organization, has repeatedly refused to address the article in the Dallas Voice Newspaper stating, Gay Day at the Ballpark will be the first time a major professional athletic team has reached out to the gay community and offered to help organize such an event. Instead, he insinuates that the Rangers did not have their salesperson personally contact the homosexual groups. On the contrary, Gil Flores maintains: A sales representative who helped organize last years Gay Day for the Dallas Burn, the citys major league soccer team, now works for the Rangers and brought the idea for Gay Day at the Ballpark with him, according to Gil Flores, services director for the John Thomas Gay and Lesbian Community Center. It appears that the Texas Rangers Organization is just spinning the truth to downplay their involvement. The Bible calls that a lie, and so do we at ProtestGayDay.com. The Rangers (Mike Cramer) says that Gay Day does not exist. IF this is true, then WHY haven't the Rangers asked the Dallas Voice to retract their announcement of this event? Why haven't the Ranger's "gone after" the DV for publishing a bunch of lies? There's been no retraction, and to my knowledge no demand for any retraction? Mike Cramer stated on The Wilder Show that the Rangers did not have the time to go after every group that prints false information about the Rangers. As KCBI 90.9 FM stated in the news, the Texas Rangers got more than what they bargained for." For the sake of loyal Texas Rangers fans and families, the Rangers should have taken the time to stop this homosexual propaganda. It would have taken one phone call. I asked Mike Cramer to have the Dallas Voice retract their statements 4 weeks ago. I informed him that if they did not make the Dallas Voice retract their statements, then ProtestGayDay.com would be obligated to let the people know.
& TEXAS RANGERS TO HOLD GAY DAY
At The Ballpark In Arlington.
Words In Quotations Taken From The Gay & Lesbian Newspaper Article
We are receiving a lot of emails about us protesting the Rangers. I need to be clear about what we are doing. We are protesting both the homosexuals and the Texas Rangers. We are protesting the homosexuals for using a family institution such as baseball, the Texas Rangers and our Ballpark in Arlington to legitimize their perverted lifestyles. The homosexuals ARE NOT simply going out to watch a baseball game with their buddies. They are going to push their perverted homosexual agendas in an effort to gain some sort of normalcy to their kind. They want you and your children to see them and accept them as normal. God did not make man to have sex with another man, nor a woman with another woman. It is not normal. It will never be normal. To think that it is natural is insanity. God obviously made man's anatomy for the purpose of reproduction. We promote salvation and deliverance for the homosexuals. Jesus Christ died on the cross to pay for all of our sins. They can be saved just like we got saved. Deliverance is going to be more of a challenge for a homosexual though. We will help you through the trials ahead. It's never easy going back up the mountain once you have fallen, but with help from brothers and sisters in Christ, it is much more bearable. Our purpose is to bring Gay Day to the attention of families so that they can be informed and be able to make the decision that they feel is in the best interest of their children and families. They also need to know the truth about how the Rangers contacted and negotiated the sale of tickets with the homosexuals. They may have convictions to not ever go to a game at the Ballpark again. We also have a petition on our website that people are signing to have their voices heard and morals to be known. We are protesting to make a stand for righteousness. People all across America and around the world need to know that there are decent moral people still in the United States that are willing to make sacrifices to protect and preserve our children and families.
Lastly, we are protesting the Texas Rangers Organization to hold them accountable. They should just admit the truth. They had their sales representative contact and negotiate the sale of tickets to the homosexuals just like he did before with the Dallas Burn. The Texas Rangers have a responsibility as a sports team, which children look towards as role models, to act on the behalf of and in the best interest of their fans. This event legitimizes the perverted Gay & Lesbian lifestyle in the eyes of the unsuspecting, innocent child. Homosexuals are still very much a minority group and families will not sit back and let them take over our communities. The Texas Rangers should be ashamed. They are the ones who contacted Gil Flores, who is the services director for the John Thomas Gay and Lesbian Community Center. The Texas Rangers reached out to the homosexual community in hope of getting some extra ticket sales. That's the bottom line and they are therefore responsible for legitimizing the homosexuals in the eyes of our children.
2 Peter 2:6 And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly;
Thank you for your support of families,
Rick Warden

Legalization of amphetamines?
If a Kroger store instituted a "gay singles night" I'd say yes.
I don't really care to dispute or prove them. I just think it's a little strange that the same folk who claim that homosexuals are vile creatures with absolutely no redeeming qualities will, in all seriousness, jump on something printed in a crappy little gay paper and run with it.
I don't believe most of the things I read in mainstream newspapers. Why should I believe something printed in this Dallas Voice rag?
The Rangers are not sponsoring a "gay day"; they sold a block of tickets to a group of gay people.
That's all. Just like Kroger wouldn't turn away three or four gay people walking in and shopping together.
Same thing.
Why is it that these perverts have to have their special days at baseball games, DisneyWorld, etc. so they can announce loudly, "We're HOMOS! Look at US!"
OK...those questions are rhetorical. I know the reasons (promotion of their sick agenda) but it's disgusting just the same.
I've gone to the regular Google search and am seeing what I can find. If you notice, I am going to several sources, not just one.
Here's the Washington Blade's take:
Hackers defend Gay DayCreative computer experts leave a distinctive mark on a Web site opposing Gay Day at ballpark in Lone Star State
While gay computer geeks might not be the hottest in the dating pool, at least they know how to step up and defend Gay Day at a Texas ballpark.
GAY HACKERS damaged the site, according to a written statement issued by Rick Warden, the founder and operator of ProtestGayDay.com, the Web site circulating a petition to stop Gay Day. The event is scheduled to take place next Sunday, Sept. 14, at The Ballpark in Arlington, Texas, where the TEXAS RANGERS play.
When Brothers and Sisters in Christ where [sic] signing the petition, by the hundreds, gay porno websites [sic] were loading up on the screen instead of their signatures, Warden writes, apparently without the benefit of a good grammatical guide.
The site has since been fixed, though no one really knows if it really was gay hackers who did the damage. Warden seems convinced, however, that it was someone of the homosexual persuasion who tried to sabotage his effort.
But as Dishs Latin teacher in Connecticut Sister Nicotina of the Holy Smoke (I kid you not) used to say, Always consider the source, and then disregard the remarks.
Along with his press release, Warden sent copies of e-mails he got on the site from people who support and oppose fixing what the hackers did.
Youre getting your ignorance and childishness spewed right back into your face, no pun intended, read one unsigned e-mail.
Regardless of this messy matter, Warden claims to love gay people.
Although the sodomites put their filth in our unsuspecting faces, we still care enough about them to pray that they would get saved and delivered from the bondage of sodomy, he writes.
Bondage and sodomy? Sounds like Dishs kind of party!
Scott Wilder: Okay, Mike Cramer is president and CEO of the Texas Rangers. ... Weve talked [that] ... the headline that says, Texas Rangers to Hold Gay Day is something Rick Warden says he really would like to have had you on record requesting a retraction or a correction of that headline because it is false. And so I wanted to give you the opportunity to make that request or tell me that you dont want to make that request.
Mike Cramer: Well, lets first of all, lets consider this, number one as the request. I think everyone knows that the Dallas Voice, that that is incorrect. They know it, theyve seen it, theyve heard some of the discussion about it and so it is not a problem for us to simply say to the Dallas Voice: Look, why dont you not misrepresent what this is and please correct the article? But let me say this, theres a lot of things written about the Texas Rangers in hundreds of publications throughout the state and throughout the region that if we wrote in and asked people to correct everything that was a misstatement, wed be on the phone or writing a lot of letters.
Scott Wilder: Sure.
Mike Cramer: And so, thats really what the motivation was. When somebody writes something about us and its wrong, we dont rush out and demand that people make a correction.
Scott Wilder: But see, for people who would say thats spin, they would say that you say that just to but you really dont want to make the statement. But you have made the statement clearly
Mike Cramer: No question.
Scott Wilder: --you would like the Dallas Voice to make the correction because this is a false headline.
Mike Cramer: They should and everybody knows its incorrect. They know its incorrect and they should correct it.
At least it's not so institutionalized that he is required to wear the rainbow flag on his jersey sleeve (yet)...
That would not surprise me in the least if it's an outright lie about the Rangers supporting this garbage. I'd be shocked and disappointed if I found out it were true, in fact. Thanks for that link also ! ...Excerpt from there for others to see what homos say about homos ...
The authors say a surprisingly high percentage of pathological liars and con men are gay. This results from a natural habit of self-concealment, and leads to a stubborn self-deception about one´s own gayness and its implications.
They say gays tend to reject all forms of morality and value judgments. Gay morality boils down to If it feels good, I´ll do it! If a gay feels like seducing a trusted friend´s lover, he´ll do it, justifying it as an act of sexual freedom and the friend be damned.
Try to read and here's the important thing, comprehend what you are reading.
Attacking my position on this issue with one off comments is not a convincing rebuttal.
While I saw that the rest of America celebrates "pride week" in the beginning of the summer, I guess that "pride week" is celebrated several times a year now in some areas.
Think that the Rangers or Six Flags would be willing to embrace or acknowledge some good ol' boys who want to celebrate "White Pride" week?
In an ideal world he would but I doubt that will happen. Legally, he has no ground to stand upon. The paper is under no obligation to print the truth (see The New York Times, for example). From a public relations standpoint, if Cramer pushed the issue he just might give it more advertisement in "the community" and we'll have 2,000 gays show up rather than the 200 who have bought tickets.
I think that they'll run for the full 1,000 because then they'll get their rainbow shirts (otherwise who'll know that they are there). I'd expect some out of towners going to this game to get the needed 1,000.

Seems that this is turning out to be more than an inaccurate headline. In reply 71, weegee posted the following two statements from the queer newspaper article:
"The Rangers donated a suite for the organizations to meet and organize the event."
"Andy Silverman, the Rangers vice president of ticket sales, said the sheer earning potential of the gay community was a factor in the teams decision to sponsor Gay Day. The gay community has tremendous buying power, and we cant ignore that."
This goes well beyond an error in the headline. Mike Cramer needs to determine the accuracy of these two statements and take action if the queer newspaper falsely reported them. Ok, so there are lots of things written about the Rangers in hundreds of publications - forget about the other 100+ publications and have the Ranger's legal team address this one.
