My question is: where is the White House in this?

Why doesn't Bush have his people in CA making McClintock an offer he can't refuse?

McClintock can't win. Arnold can. Even if Arnold dropped out, his support would NOT go to McClintock. Polls show that. Only Arnold can beat Bustamente.

A governor of your own party is an asset in a Presidential year. Governor Arnold could put California in play for 2004. Governor Bustamante could end up as Hildebeast's running mate.

The Bush team has to know this. Why haven't they made it clear to McClintock that, if he wants a future in politics...get out now.

The Bush Team controls the Republican party?

Since when? GW Bush is giving the GOP nearly as bad a name as his father did when he raised taxes and broke a iron-clad GOP principle.

GWs spending is absolutely out of control. He let Ted Kennedy write the massive Education Bill. He is caving in to Democrats on Domestic issues like I cannot believe.

GW Bush is making me wonder if he's truly a Republican.

McClintock CAN win. He has even stated that he would consider withdrawing if Arnold would meet in him a live debate telling the people of California why he is the preferred candidate.

Of course, Arnold refuses such an offer because he knows he is in over his head.

An Arnold would would be horrible for the Republican Party. We have enough RINOs in office as it is.

RE: #70 Every comment of yours hit the bull's eye.

Pressure is on McNader, but to date, he remains fixated on staying in the race to the bitter end, and bitter it shall be if he pulls enough votes to throw the election to Cruz.

Would think that message has probably been delivered and rejected it seems by someone who thinks he is the only answer and no one else knows a thing. McC(lintock) obviously is not a team player just like the other McC(ain) is not a team player!

Because Bush and the entire Republican party has written California off. We are not worth saving. We will be (correctly) penalized -- particularly when we lose all Homeland Security $$$ and Californians will be required to show a passport at the SD/TJ (or TX/MX) border.

But we conservatives somehow allowed Boxer and DikFi to hijack our state and make into the next Canada.

I am not sure where I screwed up, but I understand why the rest of the conservative country "left" us to fend for ourselves.

I think that SB60, in a preverse way, has shown the national RNC that they can't leave a power like California to rot in the sun. But their silence in this whole affair continues to offend me.

We need the RNC to come here and TCB.
