"some would forget the mission to fight terrorism."
FNS put 9 of the forgetful ones on display for all to see last night. They made fools of themselves and their party.
We will not forget!

As always, Monsoor provided good insight. Graham is a liar. Thinks he's a comedian (Usama bin forgotten) but he's the real joke. And that's what I said when I called his office.

"I literally felt the power of the military when we stood and sang "The Battle Hymn of the Republic" I've read that performing the "The Battle Hymn of the Republic" at the service was Laura Bush's idea. She's a great lady.

During Brit's show tonight, he had Monsoor Ijaz on and he and Brit were talking about the Saddam/Usama connection. Monsoor mentioned that Bob Graham should know better because Bob was part of the Committee that was given the information that there was a connection. Thank you for posting that, I was sure that I had heard of that information before but not sure from whom.

You did !!! Good for you - we need to keep calling and writing and tell these people if they want to know .. "who knew and when did they know it ..?? We knew it 8 years ago and WE KNOW it now! They're all liars.

And .. Monsoor said that the relationship between the 2 was known as far back as 1995 - and it was confirmed in 1998 - and it was further confirmed after our war in Iraq - where documents were found in one of the buildings.
Bob Graham knew of this info back in 1995 - and for him to lie about it is the most dispicable thing I've ever seen.

A note of further history is that it was said that the hymn "Mine Eyes Have Seen the Glory" had never been sung there before and there was the Queen singing it (we call it the "Battle Hymn of the Republic"A further, further note of history: At the memorial service at the National Cathedral, Laura Bush did away with the politically correct version of the "Battle Hymn".
For many years, the lyrics appearing in song books have read:
As He died to make men holy,
Let me LIVE to make men free.
For the memorial service, Laura had the choir sing the original version:
As He died to make men holy,
Let us die to make men free.
Our God is Marching On....

Speaking as a FORMER Episcopalean, it was probably the fault of the revised Hymnal (1980s?) that also did away with the three Rudyard Kipling hymns (Recessional and 2 others I can't name off the top of my head) in the spirit of anti-imperialism. If the PC revisers had ever actually read the verses of
Recessional they'd have realized that it WAS anti-Imperialist!
Example for modem users (Verse 3);
Far-called, our navies melt away;
On dune and headland sinks the fire:
Lo, all our pomp of yesterday
Is one with Nineveh and Tyre!
Judge of the Nations, spare us yet,
Lest we forget - lest we forget!

Two new books - Losing bin Laden and Why America Slept - both of them give all this intel which the majority of the members of the Senate were briefed on for years.

"Bush was outstanding tonight."
Yes, I agree. He has been outstanding. I just can't picture Gore or any of the dem prez. candidates handling this. President Bush had to make split second decisions on 9/11 and then make the larger commitments as well. I think a dem in the White House (with maybe 2-3 exceptions) would have made it (9/11) a thousand times worse. Not that there was anything good about what did happen.
I just think a dem would have had endless debates of "What did we do to make them so angry at us?". We would be told it was our fault. No patriotism. No gathering around the flag. Think about it. No Rummy in the White House. No John Ashcroft or Tom Ridge, or Condi Rice, oh, and Dick Chenney. None of them would have been there.
Judging from the democrat whinning about the detainees at Gitmo and all there "no racial profiling" , I seriously doubt that any of the suspects now in custody would have been found. How many of them are there now? And how many awful things were they planning when they were caught?
If you want to give yourself a scare that will make your blood run colder than a chill wind on Halloween night- ponder what 9/11 would have been like with a dem in the White House.
God Bless President Bush and all the people working with him to lead our nation.
