"Bush was outstanding tonight."

Yes, I agree. He has been outstanding. I just can't picture Gore or any of the dem prez. candidates handling this. President Bush had to make split second decisions on 9/11 and then make the larger commitments as well. I think a dem in the White House (with maybe 2-3 exceptions) would have made it (9/11) a thousand times worse. Not that there was anything good about what did happen.

I just think a dem would have had endless debates of "What did we do to make them so angry at us?". We would be told it was our fault. No patriotism. No gathering around the flag. Think about it. No Rummy in the White House. No John Ashcroft or Tom Ridge, or Condi Rice, oh, and Dick Chenney. None of them would have been there.

Judging from the democrat whinning about the detainees at Gitmo and all there "no racial profiling" , I seriously doubt that any of the suspects now in custody would have been found. How many of them are there now? And how many awful things were they planning when they were caught?

If you want to give yourself a scare that will make your blood run colder than a chill wind on Halloween night- ponder what 9/11 would have been like with a dem in the White House.

God Bless President Bush and all the people working with him to lead our nation.
