Newsweek this week ran a half page picture of Pres. Bush at Ground Zero with his arm around the retired fireman and holding the bullhorn. The other half of the page was a waist-up closeup of Bush in the flight suit on the Abraham Lincoln. The bold headline over the pictures was "Packaging Patriotism."

I was talking back to the TV screen saying, "oh yeah, like on school vouchers blacks want? Like the majority of blacks that want better security in their neighborhoods?"

No, blacks vote 90% for Democrats through indocrination and a lot of voter fraud. Every time you bring up the concept of requiring a legal, picture ID (driver's license or state ID card) and a voter registration card when you go to vote (like in Tennessee) the Dems scream racism and intimidation. Works for the illegal Mexian aliens too.

Remember during the '00 election, when the dems tried to allow convicted felons to vote (knowing that 85% of CONVICTED FELONS would vote democratic) and through out the overseas ballots from the American military. That single fact forever defines the democratic party for me.

Without checking, I can assure you of this: neither Bush nor McCain, the primary contenders, spoke an ill word about Clinton. Bush, in particular, spoke of "bringing dignity back to the White House", "leadership" and "a new tone".

And such simple courtesies left every one of us on this board feeling disappointed...

My point exactly.. Cajungirl hit the nail on the head, a BUSH HILLARY contest could be a catalyst for a civil disaster.

And I think the time (sociologically) is ripe for such a crisis. We have had a lot of almost-crises in the past couple of years: Y2K-fizzile, Elian, Election 2000, 9/11. While some of these really gripped us at the time, we eventually went back to "business as usual." But make no mistake, we are "due" a real crisis... sometime very soon.
