or Grenada. It shocked me that Dean didn't mention Reagan as one of the factors winning the cold war...

Okay. Check out Chris Rea some time. I don't think he's done anything in years though. One more: Do you like Wayne Toups?

Seriously, I think it's going the other way. The Democrats grip on power is slipping, the tides are changing, and the trend is turning against them, their failed ideas, and their demagoguery.
Sure, they'll always have a contingent of sycophants and lobotomised morons who will vote for them, but it's not going to be enough to carry them to victory. They're scaring off middle America and the moderates.
I honestly wouldn't be surprised to see the Democrats go the way of the Republicans in the 1930s, holding 15% of the Senate and 20% of the House. Seriously.

This was pure genius! I watched it as a Fox supporter and I came away as more pro-Bush than ever!!!! Fox was brilliant in every respect - even the hecklers contributed to the downfall of the Democratic party. I agree. I came away more assured that none of these idiots could ever beat Bush.
This debate really made the Dems look pathetic.

Won't someone somewhere ask one of these clowns just once "How exactly will raising taxes help the economy and create jobs?"?
None of them could remember the disproven Rubin rationale that Clinton used. They would have no answer!

This wasn't a debate at all. FNC didn't do themselves any favors with this. No control at all. On the contrary, Fox just entertained their moderate-right audience for 1 1/2 hours and showed them just what idiots that dems have running for office. It was neat to see them repeat the same thing over and over - "Bush bad, me good". If that little show didn't get people to vote Republican, nothing will.

If the debate had been a movie, it would've been Gigli.

This scares me. One that 40% of Americans would vote for one of these dwarves. Two that Hill will sail in. Three I think Pat Moynihan is rolling in his grave, MLK is being dragged around the country by joe and noone cares about Kitty Dukaikis or dingell norwood. This is a frightening spectacle of what alot of people in our country are like. Scary as hell. But funny too

What Brit is thinking probably could not be repeated but they can't be too hard on the dems because they are sponsoring another debate on October.
