Pundits believe HC will NOT run unless she sees it as a shoo-in against Bush.

With his numberse dropping, Bush may be starting to look vulnerable; infact may look even more vulnerable (ie. further slipping in the polls) over the next couple of months.

The key is the deadline to file. If Bush loses ground up to that point HC may see this as a guaranteed win .....

However, Bush has a knack for "dropping the bomb" and getting the upper hand on Democrats who misunderestimate him....

The question then becomes which bomb(s) will he drop on her:
employment gains...
stocks gain...
economy rebounds...
wmd discovery...
OBL captured...
Saddam captured...
oil prices drop...
Iraq stabilizes...
?????

Should be a great show!

Just Posted: Win-win

You'll recall that late last summer, Democrats sensed a weakness of President Bush on Iraq. They blasted him day in and day out, and his poll numbers softened. But as the leaves began to turn, Mr. Bush launched a counteroffensive, beginning with his speech to the opening session of the United Nations, culminating in an overwhelming vote in Congress authorizing him to use force against Saddam Hussein.

Now that's the kinda bomb that I expect will be dropped on HC if she steps up.

Thanks for the link. I'm like you, something will happen and he will rebound in the polls. He's another 'comeback kid'!

Add McClintock as the Third Party Real Conservative candidate and let the race begin!

A scenario like that gives the Presidency to Hillary.

And not expect or demand that the media cover her deficiencies....low-level, under-the-radar, spread-the-word gossip is the order of the day... NOT arguing with liberals...WE HAVE TALES TO TELL.

They portray Bush as somebody you could keep busy for hours, parakeet-style, simply by putting a mirror and a cuddle bone in front of him...

Cuttlebone. Not "cuddle bone."

I'll bet you were one of those in 1991 who was running around saying Bill Clinton would never get the nomination, much less be elected.

Another bet you lost.

"She needs to go retire to a beach in France and stop torturing us."

Well, I think she and we would be happier if she retired to a nice beach on the Gaza Strip, then if we're lucky, a Pali missle would misfire, ending our torment forever!!

Rich Galen, a GOP consultent, was on KSFO this morning and indicated that Bill Clintons's approval ratings in Sept. 95 were 44%. We know who won the presidency in 96. Remember, ratings go up and they go down. Change is constent in our life. If Hillary or Al get in the things may change for the better for George and to the other twos detriment.

Yeah, but with those thighs, if she lies out on the beach the Greenpeace people will mistake her for a whale and try to pull her back into the water.
